has anyone had experience with file formats other than mp3 on their w550i? i'm keen to see if i can cram a few more tunes on there... |

convert to aac (.m4a, .mp4) these are the best file types you can use for maximum compression/smallest file size on your W550. However this is based on ripping directly from a CD to 96kbps mp4 m4a or aac, compared to ripping to mp3 at 128kbps (no loss of quality, smaller file size). Go to http://www.dbpoweramp.com to find out more. You can use itunes though to rip to .m4a though if you have ever used that (i havent, but have been told its pretty simple to use) |
