Hi. I bought a K300i recently and i am goin mad tryin to get the mms from airtel to work. Is there anyone who has sent a mms successfully using a K300i? I have checked with airtel several times to confirm my settings and it seems to be perfect. But still it wont work. It just keeps saying service not available even though the airtel cc says its active and enabled and i even got a sms saying its active. Now i am really fed up. Now i am wondering if there is anything that can be done to fix this?

What is the sin of k300. It seems you have not configured the mms settings. Also you have to select airtelnet as your mms wap profile.

If you have only recently received the settings, you need to restart the phone for them to work... try it....

I think the mms system on my phone is corrupt. I am wondering if anyone has sent a mms using a K300i using any service . Also the streaming doesn't seem to work too. I am tryin to view live tv at d airtel live site but it always says it couldn't connect. I ve disabled d proxy under streaming settings. To be honest, i am frustrated Big time using my K300i. Think i ve made a wrong choice:-(

Hmmm....before jumping to conclusions, i'd suggest you just test these services in another phone and then see what happens. The live tv thing on airtel has never worked for me too...

Thanks whiz. I got some general confusion regarding mms settings. In automatic settings the proxy is disabled and wap mode is enabled. But the customer care tells me to set the port to 8799. It doesn't work in both methods. On a samsung phone the auto settings sets the port to 9201. Now which of these is correct. Now my question is . . . Do i have to set the mode to wap under internet profiles and stop botherin bout d port or shall i set it to http mode and set the port to 8799 or 9201 ?

Hmmm. It seems like the airtel mms service itself has been havin a bit of a problem for so long. Even my friends and cousins aren't able to send mms using various phones. But this problem is been there for almost 3 weeks and airtel is too lousy to fix it promptly. By d way i am living in Chennai. Hopefully it starts working and i shall send my first mms in life:-) . Pls let me know if any airtel users have sent any mms in d past 2 weeks.
