the mms link is not correct. it was the t68i, not t68. however t68 had the hw already, the "i" upgrade made mms feature possible.

Yeah your right, the link says Ericsson T68 but in actual fact it's Sony Ericsson T68i.

i remember SE offerred t68m owners a free firmware upgrade to the "i" version so they could get MMS. |

Actually, in pre-production phase, the Ericsson T68 already had MMS. Then, when it was produced Ericsson disabled that feature. And with the Sony Ericsson T68i, is was enabled.
However: T68m could be easily upgraded with new software so that MMS would work, it's just a matter of software update.
About polyphonic ringtones, it certainly isn't a SE! I remember the times that Ericsson was always behind in those stuff. Samsung and Panasonic always had the newest kind of ringtones, than better screens and displays.
If you're talking about the first colour phone where image could be displayed: the T68m with 256 coulours. If you're talking about the Siemes, it couldn't display 'real' pictures.
The T68 was also the first phone with joystick control.
For bluetooth: we can say it's the T36/T39, as there are only minor (software) differences between the two. It's like Windows XP compared to Windows XP with Service Pack 1.
About nokia first with MMS: no! Nokia originally wanted stick with a newer version of there 'nokia picture message' and the 3510i was released in 4Q 2002. The Ericsson T68 4Q 2001.
And the first GPRS phone: Motorola Timeport 260

The first phone produced with MMS support in harware and designed with the MMS functionality really was the Ericsson T68, it only needed a switch to activate it.
Long before they spoke about the Sony Ericsson T68i they allready menioned the T68m would have MMS, but at the final stage Ericsson disabled this feature for marketing reasons.
It took a few months later for other manufacturezrs to introduce MMS phones. |

At this site you can see all the current phones with their launch date.
Do some research
I remember the times when i was younger, year 2000 when i knew all phone models that existed. That times, there weren't a lot of phones yet.
Ericsson had only T10, T18, T28 series for sale back in the days.

This is how I see it (production phones):
Bluetooth + MMS = SE T68i
Bluetooth = Ericsson R520m
MMS = SE T68i
GPRS = Ericsson R520
Infrared = Ericsson SH888, Nokia 6110?
Polyphonic Ringtones = ?
Colour Screen = Siemens SL10
Java = Siemens SL45 or Nokia 6310?

The R520 was only in prototype phase when the Motorola Timeport 260 was out, so the first GPRS phon is this Motorola.
