Dan, Jeff,

i-Mode will be launched next month in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
Japanese telco NTT Docomo have been planning this in cooperation with KPN mobile for over a year. WAP 2.0 phones will be compatible with i-Mode too.

I did hear about Euro-i-Mode. Is WAP 2.0 a firmware upgrade, or hardware
based? And when will i-mode in Europe be actually useable? and with which phones?

So, how do get a tri-band, bluetooth, color, GPRS, WAP 2.0 phone -- will T68 have the ability, or must we wait for the new incarnation?

As far as I know the two major network-suppliers here in Norway is ready for 3G. They are just waiting for the handsets to come on the marked. KS :-)

and yes, you can make it at home for yourself. all you need is one phone, one TV, and some stick tape!

use the sticky tape to stick the phone and TV... take a photo and post it here for all your mates to be impressed.
