They didn't learn years ago and to be kept waiting for so long for an update is beyond a joke. Nice Bravia and Ex-mor gimmicks but how good will it actually be. Always a disappointment with SE these days and SE have drastically gone down the pan to not even mid level phones.

@ Hobbs do you think you can hack it that long?

I watched some Videos of the X10 on YouTube some American guy said it was a laggy phone
im assuming he had 1.6 still, but as of 2.1 thats fixed that now right?

im hoping that horrid blue background is changeable im not to keeon on it,
i'd rather it be something more colourful,
so will be prob adding live wallpaper to it

has anyone put the Custom rom on theres?
is it better with it or what?...

I think the HTC clock has to be put onto that X10
lol cos the screen looks far to plain for my liking

@Miss UK try 'Beautiful Widgets' for an HTC style clock (you might be able to pick the apk somewhere off the market if you look in the right places ). It's skinnable and functional. You can't change the blue in mediascape, you can change the theme in timescape. I have no lag issues, run 2.1 rooted with a few of the crap apps removed.

I'm not due for upgrade now till Jun 2012 too. I'll probably get a new handset around Sep/Oct/Nov this year though if there's something nice out by then. Looking for xperia arc style beauty and dual-core.

I've held my X10 since end of March 2010, at nearly 9 months it's my longest serving primary handset since my trusty W800 and I still want to hold onto it for another 9 months at least, maybe it'll hold out till Jun next year.

@orbitech mass props for the widgetsoid pointer a few pages back. I use it to fit 5 apps across on my desktop

Thanks, the wallpaper is my view over Beijing from my living room window. You might recognise Battstatt and Tajm widgets and the beautiful weather widget too.

Fancy Widget 1.3.0 .apk is the closest to the HTC clock and the last version before it was taken off the market by htc but is still available.
