hobbs.. after reinstalling, when you hit the home button it should pop up the window again to ask you which you want to start.

I\\\\\\'d been using poweramp and really liking it, its faster and easier to use then mediascape, though I do like mediascape. One grat thing aboutvpoweramp is ots widget. Fast and convenient, too bad mediascape does not have that. But poweramp is still not yet perfect. I am looking for an app/widget that can control music at the lock screen, with having to unlock the screen just to get to the widget. Mediscape is worse since u actually have to go into mediascape.

I think you'll find Poweramp does have a lockscreen widget. The free trial and also the paid version has this in the settings screen.
I've been using poweramp since its release and paid for it as soon as that came avaioable as well.

So guys how do you manage email accounts if apparently X10 can't install stuff on memory card?
Or am I missing something?

Heh I know it WORKS!
I ask about MEMORY. Apparently X10 doesn't allow install on sd card.
I would like to install email client and download some emails etc.
So everything will be stored on internal memory?
The question is how about internal memory after some time.
Do you have any problems with that? Or 400 MB is enough?

The internal memory hasn't been an issue for me, when emails with large attachments come through, the attachments go straight to the memory card.

Your app will be installed on the internal mem and for many apps whatever it saves will save to the mem card, but it really depends on which app you're using. I use the native gmail client but that doesn't save emails only caches the most recent few. It really needs to be connected to the internet. I'm sure there are apps out there that will download and save the mails to sd though.
edit: and the internal memory is more than enough for crap loads of apps

@doministry i wasn't questioning your knowledge of how email works I was asking why you're asking about the internal memory as far as email is concerned. like others have said, the native apps will cache the latest 20 or so and download more as you scroll and these are stored on internal mem. attachments are stored on the SD card.
as for 3rd party email clients, i have no idea as i haven't used any. but i agree with what others have said... I haven't had any issues with running out of internal memory.
General question to all - if you're using the native launcher in 2.1, are you finding a lag when scrolling through the app drawer? no matter what, i get a lag when scrolling through the app drawer but everything else seems to work fine. perhaps i will have use a 3rd party launcher again...

I had some memory issues last night when running google latitude but not seen them since. I don't think Eclair is as refined as Donut but I guess further refinement will come with further updates.

@moogoo I had lag but after removing moxier, quadrapop, setup wizard and a couple others (inc my task killer) I rarely have lag in the app drawer. I found though that if I do get any lag in the drawer, scrolling ful to the bottom and full to the top clears it right up. It's almost as if it's struggling to commit the icons of the apps to a quickly available memory and has to fetch them every time. Obviously Google wouldn't be that stupid when writing android but the problem is there occasionally. I found it's worst when the phone has been left idle for a while. Maybe it's the the CPU waking up and waking it's senses that causes the lag.
