I think you can expect the UK network FWs in about a week, 3 may take longer as they like to have their stuff on there too.
2.1 is good, interface looks and feels 'bolder', for those still wondering, still no 16m colours, no flash and no MT as was expected.
Still can't get used to the straight slider as opposed to the arc but that's the only thing niggling me.

Doing the 2.1 update now...why is PC Companion taking so long to update? It's stuck on Stage 2 "Preparing computer for software update" initialising and it's now reached 100% over the course of 2.5 hours. Does this normally take that long? I think it's still progressing as I can see the tiny flickering every now and then. I really don't want to restart again as it might take just as long. |

@elad the worst thing you can do is restart the process once it's started. DON'T DO IT. You may brick your phone. Mine took ages at the download stage but I'm pretty sure it's because the servers were all crammed up with traffic. You just have to sit it out, but 2.5 hours seems a very long time. The actual flashing process takes about 15-20 minutes.

Anyone know how to get the DNLA working on the X10? I have just taken a HD vidio although cant find a function to transfer the video to tv.
Apparently DNLA was supposed to be in this update although were the hell the function is who knows.
I wouldn't mind trying this feature out with my Sony Bravia NX series tv that has all the bells and whistles like WiFi streaming, You Tube, BBC iPlayer and of course DNLA.

I have read that se were to include DNLA support in their 4th quarter update which this 2.1 is the 4th quarter.
Camera flash should of been included in this update too for taking pictures, that's just a normal thing.
Apart from that HD video recording looks good.
I didn't have any problems updating either and it didn't even take 5 minutes yesterday with PC Companion.
