Hi,
I'll have to up this threat again, because I think it'S something really important what boba plans to realize.
A worldwide support-system for Ericsson handsets.
The first steps are made with activation the URL erimail.info and the possibility to make mail-adresses with this URL.
Now it's up to you, to make this plan getting better and write down your ideas.
How could say of himself: Yes, my knowledge is good enough and I want to be art of this support-team?!
It would be great if there would be some of you, so there'll be some for Europe, some for USA, some for Asia and maybe also for special countries that the contact might be in different languages.

The show must go on!
Erimail is ready for take off!
The first mail account goes to the master of ///-threat at esato boba:
You can reach him since two minutes at
boba @ erimail.info
Let's make a big support-forum for all ///-questions worldwide!
I'll enter some more adresses for those who want to join the support-area.
I think it will be good to split the mail
first part: name
second part: country or language
third part: @erimail.info
Any other or better ideas?
Also a question is, if it it usefull to make for every mail a new mailbox with account datas or just make a redirection to a private mailbox and you just make a new account at your mail-app with correct reply-to adress?!?

Ok Ericsson fans. My R190 is now for sale on Ebay due to the need for money. Its complete and boxed and in perfect condition. Its for sale here:

(the satellite aerial is in the white box)
Unfortunately I cant send it outside of the UK due to the cost of sending it (it weighs about 3kg).
Checkout my photos at My Website"Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together." |

@Tigerente
Hi
I have spent some good time looking through E/// threads at esato.com.
It is really quite something to find people so enthusiastic about the well-engineered products from Ericsson.
I enjoyed my years as designer with Ericsson /DCP(1998-2003) and look forward to any support I can give re: "A worldwide support-system for Ericsson handsets."

@AngusMac
You're welcome!
At first ... give us more input about your work at Ericsson.
As you can read actually the discussion about RX1 and QUARTZ is up again.
Do you know some more details about it?
What was your job at designer?
Congrats to those who had the fantastic idea of the hedvig-design.
It#s really fanatastic that employees of Ericsson found the way to this special threat at esato.
For support-ideas contact bobafett ( boba @ erimail.info ) or me (info @ my-ericsson.de or soenke.de @ erimail.info ) directly please. At first it's the job of boba to decide how the support will go on. My part is actually 'just' the technical part.

keep smiling!
I hope it okay for AngusMac that I'll answer some question public of my questionnaire for him:
Where did you worked and what was your job at Ericsson?
I worked in UK/Sweden with my specialism as electromagnetics engineer.
Do you know some more details about about RX1 and QUARTZ?
I have not been involved in RX1 or Quartz projects.
What was your job as designer?
I worked on RF/EMC and some ID aspects of design through T10/T18/T20/T28/T39/T65/T68/R190/R290/R320/R520/R600, Hedvig, Nelly, Katie, Purple, Wakaba and Futaba
Congrats to those who had the fantastic idea of the hedvig-design.
I worked on Hedvig project with US designers including ID guy David Townsend. My responsibilities included antenna/EMC and SAR. It was real fun - no expense spared!!
Hope that the first questions are answered.
But I'm sure Angus will answer more specific questions next time!
@angus: hope it was right to write down some of your answers to public. It was not my intention to disturb any privatsphaere.
