Nice phone in great condition. I noticed on the IMEI sticker that is says "made in Ericsson" why is that?
I am very tempted to take same close up shots of my Ericsson collection tonight. |

The label says: "Made by Ericsson", that basicaly means nothing. For sure Bobafett knows something more about it. There must be a kind of code in the label that holds some hidden information about the hardware.

Maybe the made by ericsson sticker is only in asian models, i never saw in eu ones.

I found something very similar called Ericsson SmartBack™ Handsfree SHW-10 that is for T60

my local market trader has one, it caught my eye one day but i was in a rush at the time, i shall go up there tomorrow and find out, as its boxed brand new, might get a good price!

I've used the HPW-10 for at least 5 years without even knowing the correct name...

I've just had a closer look to the box and a label says "Made by Ericsson" even there... But the IMEI on the box matches with the one on the phone.
The manual is still packed in its own plastic wrap, just like the charger.
The box is the original one, and not a fake.
It could be that in China the "Country of Origin" label is not mandatory... Just like it's happening in Europe, with "Made in EU" labels...
