Really really want to see this phone! Especially a Vodafone one to see how awful it really is

Well, in my experience, people who are amongst the first to obtain a certain new phone are normally falling over themselves backwards to gain kudos by posting pics of and by the device, so you might be right

Some will get theirs tomorrow and i probably will get mine the day after tomorrow(my retailer got it today and it will be mailed tomorrow) So i guess that tomorrow is the earliest one can get it through "official channels".

i agree on that point...what did SE thought about when they skipped the secondary camera ????

anyway...it still a nice phone. (you will think its even nicer when you feel it in the real world..its quite small actaully)

c905 felt quite solid for a slider, but its hard to find a more solid phone when you use c902.

I look forward to seeing lots of pics and opinions on it then

I hope to try and get an unbranded verison one way or another. I need the vodafone signal as it is the best where I live, but I HATE their firmware!

I just saw the silver one today at Gitex in Dubai... so disappointed by the design!!!! so old and cheap, the X1 feels better in every way, though it is a bit slow, but design wise it feels and is indeed made from better material... I think the nokia n96 is a nicer option...or the innv8, it will be my first nokia phone in that case...

Here's proof that I own one - and I can only say so many times that there's NO FRONT-FACING VIDEO CAMERA!

I think we get it about the Video Call Camera and we really need to move on!
Is that a media demo or retail version? How do you find the speed of the phone to be in general? Is it quick or slow, and have any bugs presented themselves?

The media player is the same as the Walkman, without the branding and some of the specific playlist features (genre, SenseMe etc). You have; Artist, Albums, tracks, Playlists, Audiobooks, Podcasts and that's it. To be honest, I rarely use the other stuff because my music isn't that well tagged and the genres are so mixed it's near impossible to generate a good playlist. And SenseMe just takes ages to generate!

It's a shame there's no easy access button to the media player, or it would be perfect! (BTW, The W902 has features like BestPic, so SE is beginning to see the value of sharing top-end features from Walkman with Cyber-shot and vice versa).

Video playback is a lot quicker than the K850i. Even with Bluetooth streamed audio, video files keep the audio in sync now - just as the older platform (W880i) handsets used to. Not sure if the processor is quicker, or if it's just heavily optimised code.

Maybe the lack of a video-calling camera has speeded up the phone? LOL

@gtr83
Nah i'm just beeing silly!

@jmcomms Thanks!
I only need the "basic" walkman player so that is sufficient for me! Well one very often have to (re)tag the Mp3:s to sort them out and get them to work properly. Media monkey is good for that purpose. But it is a hussle..but sometimes worth it!
