hi all. I used the dell pc restore just to see what it would do-it returned my lappy to its factory condition, and removed all the probs i was facing.
@san what junkware are u talking about? I got sonic and power dvd.
Something related to cd's-how to i burn a 4 cd game to a single dvd?
And does anyone know how to insert a mem stick pro into a dell?i tried inserting one yesterday but it wouldnt lock in. Mmc's work fine though |

dell had installed sonic, mcafee security center (no option to remove), dell support somethin, ms office or ms works (either way it was some trial software) then some picture viewing/editing software, some fax software, some server thing, and couple of more i forgot. anyways after doing a fresh install startup time has gone down bout 20secs atleast and can shut down in 9secs. no bad, plus the fact i got lots more free space and 2 hdd partitions.
power dvd is the dvd decoder so dont remove it. the only dell software i use is the quick set. yest i did get blue screen of death when i turned on the laptop. restarted it and it was fine. dunno wat happened???

morning ppl.. contrary to popular opinion, i prefer to have the renault drivers winning than schumi. F1 is an unfair and biased sport.. if a red bull or torro rosso could spend as much as a ferrari or mclarean, then it would be a whole new ball game. I'd say keep fixed RnD budgets for all teams and scrap all other regulations.. tht will really be interesting!! Go Alonso !!! May ur tribe prosper !!

I don't follow the races, but used to a long time ago. Back then it used to be a straight fight between Damon Hill and Schumacher.

H m m m m . . . I think it's a FAIR race dude When Schumy was WINNING perennially for the past years . . . the F1 then started to change some rules . . . then Alphonso went into the picture, by winning consecutive races from last year till this one - 2006. I think it's really a FAIR play, had it NOT been, many would have clamoured for a change in the management of the F1 committeem, don't ya think

@jo : u know when schumi was winning all those races.. thts when all the other manufacturer's complained to Bernie Ecclestone (the guy who owns F1). That is when the present regulations and qulifying procedures came into fore.. Having said that, it is no surprise that Ecclestone has always favoured ferrari. When williams had those vertical fins on their car, he fined the manufacturer but when ferrari had side fins that were broader than the required specifications, he let them go scot free !!! Schumi's wild overtaking manuvers and negative driving tactics were only possible due to this influence. i rest my case.
