@blu,i am downloading a torrent file via azureus...whats "NAT problem"??is it anything to worry bout?does it mean that my downloads are slow?how to get rid of this problem??

@doc that's a serious problem. You have to open up the azureus port in your router and your firewall. Don't know anything about routers, sanj can help you. Also read the az wiki.

chk www.portforward.com as its a bit different for different routers.
do you always get the yellow light for NAT or is it just sometimes?

hi Blu and sanj,
me going to hospital soon.can do anythig when i reach home in the evening,.will learn about it on the way...will the content be affected due to the NAT problem??its only for 1 file am getting this...(yellow smiley)the other (has blue smiley)...which seems fine.
how does this nat affect??

@thug if the smiley is yellow then it means that others are not able to connect to you and so it will affect your transfer. It is supposed to be green. If you are getting blue, that means the tracker is down.
Edit: Also change your port in azureus to something like 56555. Tools -> NAT firewall test.

@blu,i think i changed the setting when u helped me setup torrent in my laptop.i may have missed it when i installed it in my desktop.

it means that computer holding all the directions to the other comps is down. But you can still transfer files using dht, so it's no problem. But you have to fix the nat error.
EDIT: Search vinuthomas.com for "portforwarding" and you will get settings for your router.

Look at the T column, R means that another computer initiated the connection and L means my computer initiated the connection. It has to be a mix of both.
In the azureus status bar you can see NAT OK and next to it the number of users, both of them should be green.

@blu: try the divx player man.. am sure it plays the dts format.. download the latest one..
btw, am surprised u guys use azures.. utorrent is so much more better imho.. its not coded on java and therefore takes up lesser cpu resources!
