Hi all !!! So, what are you folks up to nowdays??? 
@Has: Thats an excellent speed, even using edge!! The most I ever got was 17KBps! That too only on one occasion. I get a 460kbps link, with USB, and 115 using :BT: or IR. Even my 256k line only gives me about 25KBps (I use MTNL triband), up to 30-35 on a good day.

Im also using a 6681 and get an average download speed of 22 to 25 KBps through airtel. I guess edge speeds in mumbai are around th
at much. And airtel still charges me a flat 199 per month for unlimited access

@Hass brother.. hwz the 'sheetal hawa phenkan yantra' now.. Fixed or ur room still making 'Hass tandoori' outa you?. . . . . . . nexet would u tell hw doz 6681 fare, to an err 3310!? Need to upgrade sum1 & shez been comfy wid 6681.. How much fr new wid warnty? Barely got to check my unclez set. Doz it have cam lens cover or am mistaking it? White body.. 10-15 options fr phone book entry? I need to decide based on price/ features.. between This and ostrich egg (sorry duno number, think its 6600 the old one)

@sai, you should be able to get a new 6681 for around 14.5k with bill. It does have a cam lens cover and the can is pretty good, almost as good as the k750. Im using my bro in laws old one currently till he returns my jam

Ok guys just saw.. @rao saab- others- tell me i'm guessing the rite Blokia (am weak with them) and for good features / value, costing can be strechd.. At the most i'd sell my 'mint condition'  s700  (saw ebay.in listings where they still quote 10k+ for old ones  ) any other brands? Thou shez used to Blokia! . . . . saw this real suave (i think philips) set wid a firang the othr day.. Do NEC make mobiles too ?

Yup.. NEC makes mobiles too but mostly for the japanese market. You will find very few of em even at hp. What kinda features are you looking for anyway?

Thuggie...cost is Rs.12/day 4 us prepaid & activation/ reactivation takes 24hrs...but the ip is shared & most of the time megaupload gives a disconnected from server message & rapidshare says Ur ip is already downloading a file.

Abt the phone U were asking...was it 4 miss K ??? If so then I think U can convince her 2--->  K510; Z520; W550(would go with Ur S700)...but if it's not what I think & U looking 4 a feature packed phone than there ain't ne other option but n ugly Blokia...I needed 1 ( wife's phone is just 4 name sake...it'll spend all it's time in my house connected 2 my lappy over BT all of the 24hrs of everyday, downloading something or the other) with edge(class10), S60(got loads of games & apps through a cuz) & BT...so I got the 6681.
