True. This is my first SE and its slower when typing SMS. Sometimes i type like two sentences and it shows a letter added like 3 seconds per letter, and then all of a sudden, the whole paragraph shows up. But its fine, its just a little slow, it compensates for being able to multitask. IMO, its not a PC.

it can't multitask. it gives the appearance of being able to by having a separate java chip.

so...the fact it DOES run alot of "tasks" (call it what you want), doesnīt matter for it to do multitasking??? thatīs funny if something is able to run a file explorer, a messenger, some games, a browser, plus the native phone apps at the same time, iīd say that is MULTITASKING

nope. that's called having a separate java chip. applications such as the mp3 player etc are written in java. by your definition. all phones of all brands can multitask

K850's CPU is running at 220mhz right? Well my old N80's CPU is the same speed with little RAM as well and guess what? Its able to do the same with not as much lag as a K850.
Who's dumb? SE.

SE isnt dumb, you are. It obvious that the nokia counterpart will be faster or display less lag because it is not as content heavy and complex as the k850i, the applications within the phone use less processing power then the k850.

Oh so now a feature phone is more complex than a smartphone? Thats news to me. And which applications within the phone are less power hungry than K850?

im pretty sure the media player on the k850i requires mor eprocessing power then the n80's. shouldnt you be somewhere else complaining about everything plangatan says.

I'm talking generally the amount of system applications running in the background of smartphones require more power. Media player is a one time application, it will only use power when its executed.
You still havnt told how a feature phone is more complex? Surely gimmicky animations dont make it complex

naah! out of all, my SE K810i is the best compared to nokia n70, n72 or n73. i've tested my games(which is played on my phone) in n70 and n72, my phone was much faster than the nokia n series. while multitasking, i bet it runs normal. compared to other phone, SE is the best for me. se the difference with nokia and other phone with its price cost and feature.
