the w910i is now notoriously known for being the worse phone ever and constantly turns itself off (I know at least 5000 who have the same problem), I am now taking the retailer to court and awaiting a decision from the judge shortly
I wouldn't exaggerate so much. Makes you sound like an immature 12 year old whining like a baby.
Yeah, 5000, that's a figure plucked from no where. I see people posting everyhday happy with their W910's so obviously there are no major generic problems with W910 crashing. So some people get a lemon, they should just stand on their dig and get their money back instead of puffing themselves up with indignation. A bit of firm action, as in dogmann's case, will get you a lot further than a spurious court case.

"I see people posting everyhday happy with their W910's"
that's because they've probably only owned it 5 minutes. it's the same pattern with most SE phones. Mug A buys an SE and goes away deliriously happy at the lovely UI etc. they write a review saying how perfect the phone is and how happy they are. then several weeks later the usual bugs and hardware/software glitches show up

Well that's mostly untrue, but even if it was it would be better than the 80% of people who complain about it who have never even touched one
I've had mine for 6 weeks or so, more than enough time to experience any problems. The people who have had problems have generally had problems right from the start, not 6 weeks in.
I've owned a lot of SE phones, and never had any serious bugs, and phones crashing and restarting is just something that has rarely happened for me. I've had problems with crashing using Nokia's, but not SE.
I'm not saying no one ever has problems with SE phones, but I'm saying that just because a few people have a bad time with an SE phone, doesn't mean everyone is having the same problems.

I don't think I've ever laughed so much this early in the morning, congratulations from that aspect.
On the other hand, you (original poster) are clearly either obsessed, deranged or just downright plain stupid.
You want to SUE Sony/Orange because your music on your videos is out of step?? Howon EARTH does that make YOUR life hell? It's a flipping phone that plays videos, so what if it's out of sync?? Are you telling me you think it's worth your time to bother with a small claims court over a phone only worth about £80 now?
Unless this is some very bad joke, you've got a strange and rather bizarre mind, and I hope if you have really taken it to a small claims court that you lose, badly.

lol, thats what im thinking, why the hell would u sue?
its clear that you are upset with the phone , but isnt suing a bit overboard, it seems to me that you are a kid with too much money
Everyone has had trouble with the w910, but the problems now "for me anyways" are minor and i am not troubled with them what so ever.
as for the sync problem, i have no idea whats going on, but my w910 is fine |

lol as i said before this wouldnt reach the courts as they would decide there is no reason why it should be a court matter but they will still happily take ur court fees off you for making that decision so happy days for them lol. |

I downloaded a few free movie trailers from O2 Active. Now the quality was good and pretty fast on my K800i but the speech was slightly out of sync. WHO CARES. Im not bothered and i know im not going to get top movie quality on a mobile. And it certainly did not make my life hell and make me loose sleep. Jesus. Go out into the world and have a life. |

I own a W910 since 2 months now. I have been experiencing the restarts so very often during the first month but it seems that they have almost disappeared since a few weeks ago.
I was using the phone heavily during that time and still now but now as much as I did. Perhaps the phone would hang when it is used heavily that it can not handle its memory or i/o stuffs anymore???

Yeah i gotta take em to the cleaners. Lol im sure court fees would cost ten times the cost of the phone. The courts have enough to deal with more important serious stuff from day to day. Too many time wasters today. Another thing i really hate is the compensation culture today. Ya get some stupid thug who is commiting a crime and a police officer handles him cos he is the law. And they say DONT TOUCH ME IM GOING TO SUE YOU I WANT COMPENSATION FOR ASSULT. God i hate that. The slightest thing in life they think they can complain about. Its their right as they always shout. |

great choice for a mp3 phone. restarting problems are rare on newest firmware and also its most the earlier products that seems faulty and are troubled with many issues.
just make sure u get one thats made in 08 |

He's right, the first few batches we're a nightmare, but we rarely get them come back now.
Now the W580i on the other hand....
