Heh... Anyway congrats miss uk, you got yourself a lovely Christmas present. Like the others have said, a review would be nice, but of course, that's if you've got time to spare.

Got that phone over here in Singapore. Incidentally, I just read a short review on it in a mobile phone magazine. Seems like you've got yourself a great phone miss uk. Would love to try that out sometime, but I'm sticking to my K750i for now.

i-mode was first here coined by ATT wireless, now cingular, when the T610 came out. Some type of branded web browsing with limited site options.

lol I don't know where to start with the review,
but all I can say is that the phone is stunning in design,
takes abit of time to get used to the Touch sensitive keypad as I seem to keep calling people when entering a text message
the camera should be the same as the D600 haven't tried it yet tho, I do know it takes portrait piccys due to the camera on the front of the handset, you can switch btw cameras
it has alot more memory 138mb internal ive just found my old 256MB Transflash miniSD from my D600 and put it in no bother
I was having doubt's about cases for it but my old Golla from my K750i fits it no problem, forget the samsung cases for the D600 they don't fit the phone at all
Charging time I think it takes about 2 hours prox..
on the D600 you could turn the charging display off whilst charging but o this I don't know if you can gonna have to dig deep into the manual..
Ringtones and sound, sound alot better on this phone, it's more louder for a start and text message tones you can download more and use more instead of the ones standard on the phone, D600 you couldn't do this.
ive had to email Samsung personally about presetting Mp3's as ringtones cos there isn't a option to save MP3 as a ringtone if anyone knows how to do this let me know
Display is big and bright and it has a different menu system to the D600, you have a choice of backgrounds black and white are on the phone I think maybe more can be downloaded?
Games, theres only the one on the phone id have to check the phone for the name of it tho, basically it's a racing game looks ok really
so in terms of design functionality this phone has got the design appeal,
if you want a nice stunning phone this is the on you want guys

Guess I can kiss this one goodbye now,
Guys nice phone but the MP3 option to set them as ringtone was starting to annoy me so I took it back Sunday just gone
SAMSUNG need a phone like this out with better camera and ability to set MP3's as tones, I liked the phone tho it is a nice piece of kit...
if anyone wants to look good I recommed get it on PAYG if it comes out haha

Yup, I can safely agree with jojo. Heh... Anyway, phones are improving in general. I just wish motorola would improve on their user interface. Their phones appear to have pretty solid build quality, so it's a shame they don't have a better UI.

@deluded - as an ex-moto victim, they need to work on the battery
lifetime as well as the UI !!! |

@glorfingal, you're right about the battery life of course. Heh... But I think we'd better stick to the topic for now, don't wanna upset miss uk. Anyway, miss uk, how're you liking your k800 so far? Much better than your k750? Or not that much different?
