Never had an LG, but must admit they come out with some funky cool designs.

Had a play with one today, must say it has a quality look and feel and is well built and sturdy.

All the Metal and Shiny mirror just gives it class.

I would recommend this one to the girls.

well, first impression is that it has a nice feel to it in terms of the metal housing and the weight

the scroll wheel works well and the menus seem to be designed well for it.

but, I am also reminded of the somewhat basic-ness of the 8800 in terms of functionality but perhaps I am spoiled using WM5 and M600 etc

I have been using my original V3 as my small slim phone for no fuss nights out but this might fit as a suitable replacement, especially given the reports that it can stand up to quite a bit of physical torment

I'll give it the weekend and decide on Monday whether to send it back...

ok, so the shine has gone back as I found it all very ho hum really.

initially I thought the scroll wheel was good but over the weekend it turned out to be quite imprecise and often chosen the next or previous option to the one I wanted due to a delay between me scrolling and it responding. sometimes it took two clicks to move to the next item and sometimes only one.

nice slim phone but I think my expectations are higher and in fact I'm finding I am increasingly harder to please, and to find something that really clicks with me, like the M600 has
