Went and put our name down with the council and also with Aspire housing yesterday so we can try and get a place ready.
Shouldn't have too much of a problem I hope as I get extra points for working for the council. Just hope we can get something sorted out in good time so we can get things ready.

Congrats Andy

you'll prob get a flat before me

ive been given 79 points is this bad I mean how many do couples/single mothers get? it's stinks how they award people I need a flat more then anything

@Kerry
Nothing we can do yet until the midwife has contacted us and we have a confirmation certificate from her. Even then, apparently they will not offer us anything until after the baby is born which is going to end up being hard to get things sorted.
I get an extra 10 points for working for Newcastle council as apparently I'm making a contrubition to the area. But other points are quite low really.
Places they can offer us are:

2 bedroom flat
2 bedroom masonette
2 bedroom house

but no idea which one until things have started

Got 2 interviews this week as well. One for a job driving hire cars (same as I did 2000-2004. Plenty of money there) and another for full time sauna attendant and lifeguard (step down from what I'm currently doing but only 40p an hour difference and lot less hassle)
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose
