Hobbs,it should work on E90,its a bit of an annoying hack method though, took me 3days to hack due to stupid little set backs.
Gola, yep K850 has it, even older NOKIAs, my 1st and last update on my old N80 was done via OTA, the generic W810 and W900 also have that if im not mistaken, but only now are SE and NOKIA using it more often.

Almost forgot to mention that the Gman's new girl friend is the proud owner of a SE W960 , and she love's it, although she has no idea what Symbian is let alone UIQ, and the 8GB mem only has a few tracks and pics in it,its main job is MXit lol.

Fantastic effort by the Proteas today.
'Lopsy' had a bril debut by taking those 4 wickets.

Oz will regain the no.1 ODI crown if they beat EnZed on Sunday though.

@ Hobbster:
Nah I've been too busy over the past few days; will check out a few more 5800 reviews n' stuff in the days ahead but I'm in no real rush now.
Perhaps the best gauge for me is going to walk into my local CPW, when they have a demo 5800 for me to play with and take it from there.
Thanks for keeping an eye out for 5800 news, boet.

Yep, 3days, due to stupid little things, i found out that i had to get an OPDA certificate since some of those apps you use to hack need to be signed with OPDA certs, so had to wait a whole 24hrs then got the cert, then ran into another problem the apps were already signed but with certificates that didnt have high capabilities like OPDA certs do so had to go and find the unsigned versions, then just when i thought i had everything i found that the guide had messed up the instructions in the Jbak Taskman part of the hack so had to go look for another one anyway i found one that actualy didnt need for you to install Jbak Taskman or Restart the phone, here it is: http://is.gd/hQHL in that 1st post you must go to the bottom of it and read the part that says miniME wrote: Thats the guide i used it doesnt require Jbak or restarting the phone then after that to have full access to c:sys and c:private you must get ROM Patcher and checkout the Open4all topic there in Symbian Freak Modding section here it is: http://is.gd/hSQj there are instructions and a patch to allow reading and writing to c:sys and c:private ,good luck boet,i hope you dont have a hard time like me applying this hack.

Hobbs, I'm fairly sure that you could hack your baby, but I'd rather wait until there was confirmation from someone who's done it successfully. Personally I'd first monitor/ read the reports from E90 owners who've hacked their handsets, then wait a few weeks while making certain that their phones are running smoothly before giving it a bash.
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

Hobbs, rather wait then boet, this is mainly for people who want to mod and play around where they shouldn't , Hellocarbide currently doesnt work, only thing that works is ROM Patcher, im still trying to find a patch to allow me to install unsigned apps.

LOL! Had quite doff moment, i forgot to move installserver.exe frm e:hack/sys/bin to c:sys/bin to complete the hack and allow installation of unsigned apps. Soon there will be an easier of doing this hack im sure of it, those S60 SuperGeeks i always tryin to find new ways of doing things faster and easier, its like a thing they do: Discover something -> Make it user friendly.

@ Hobbster:
LOL, methinks the only place one will find an E90 bargain at this stage is possibly eBay; I'll certainly keep an eye out for The Kryptik One's wap n' wifi weapon of choice.

WRT the 5800, I'm on a week's break in 2 week's time, so I'll see what transpires at the local CPW then...

Just got back from the 2009 London Motorcycle Show ( P1i pic:):

Sigh, the Ducati 1198 is beautiful. The Italians sure know a thing or two about styling and performance.
