I agree, Hobbs nearly pulled off that fast one So i finally got to watch The Bank Job. I really enjoyed it, been meaning to watch it for ages but never found the time. Jason Statham's new Transporter movie hasn't really been getting rave reviews, but i hope to watch it one evening during next week. Anybody seen it yet?

Speaking of negative reviews, I'm disappointed to read that Tom Cruise's new movie, Valkyrie, has also less than glowing feedback.
I'm no big Cruise fan at all, but on WW2 history I am, so when this movie based on the actual events to try and assassinate Hitler from within the Nazi ranks during the war was announced, I was pretty keen to check it out.
I was really hoping that it would be as 'realistic' as the 'Downfall' movie.

Like the 5800 camera critics, maybe I should just check it out when I can and make up my own mind... but with a forewarned outlook, LOL.

@ Kryptik:
The criticsms seem to be levied more at Cruise's unsuitability for the role of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg than most other aspects of the movie.

I've read a good many reviews of it and it seems to be a real mixed bag amongst the critics.

I'm contemplating seeing this on the big screen. I haven't been to the cinema for ages as I sometimes find inconsiderate numpties in the audience spoil the cinema experience rather quickly for me, particularly if it's a more deep/serious-type movie.

I usually wait for movies to hit the DVD shelves and then watch them in the comfort of our home with a very decent home theatre system so that I'm still able to enjoy some of the cinema-type experiences to a large extent.

With a tense movie drama like Valkyrie, hopefully it shouldn't attract any throngs of unappeciative bored yobs and giggling groupies to the cinema on the evening that I want to watch it.. so says 'Madala' Wanqa, LOL.

@ Hobbster:
I see what you mean. Wow... wish there were beaches like that here too...
The K850i sunset sky pic in that thread is also stunning!
