Hope there's more 5800 pic samples to check out soon on esato et al, 'cos GSMArena's 5800 review shows the handset's 3.2mp cam pics are nothing short of poor...

http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_5800_xpressmusic-review-308p7.php

It doesn't seem to be a prototype handset either, so can't lay the blame there either.

On the topic of cars, did you guys notice the new Ford Fiesta. The old one looks much sexier imo. I can't imagine the ST version of this one...

Ya I learnt that lesson the hard way, LOL.

You're right about the Mustang, boet. That's one Ford I'd actually consider owning.

My first car, with the little money I had back then, was a Ford Escort 1600 Sport with the dreaded, standard CVH motor. I just got my first teaching post and that car drained my salary at times... What a piece of crap some of the Ford CVH engines range was. If it was one of those old cast iron 'Kent' motors like in the really old Escorts, perhaps things would've been very different.

That new Ford Fiesta aint that bad in Black, but ye, i just dont like the design, two of my friends and closest cousin just got these new Fiestas, one of them got it in White and it just looks wack but it has some sweet features like USB port so you can load your music on a flash disk and plug it in, they also have voice recognition which we cant get enough of MINI Cooper is still better though
Gola
Worst part is that no matter how ugly these Fiestas are ,they are so well priced that they are gona sell like hotcakes and you're gona see them everywhere you go especialy around uni lol.
Hobbs, yah i guess for HTC/WM thats realy not good since they sold a lot of devices there, but NOKIA were realy struggling there anyway so maybe it wont be as bad for them, i think, lol.

lol Wanqs, hey, at least it was the sport version. It could have been worse. And i'm sure Ford has improved over the last few what, ten years...? I hope so, lol.
GUCCI
Ye, lol, i'm already dik of seeing those fiestas around. The weird thing is that the old Fiesta STs have now also become abundant, probably because of the price drop due to the new ones. I wouldn't mind one of those or a black Corsa opc, the list goes on really... How much do these new Fiestas go for btw?

Ja Wangs with some of the photos of seen taken with the 5800 on WOMWorld ect I would tend to agree with you that they are sub par/below average. Its quite worrying because I know that that could be the deciding factor in your purchasing one.But also remember some people just cant take photo's very well.Yes most of the ones I saw were on the default camera settings and with some tweaking you can most probably improve them but in most cases you need to rely on 'point and shoot' with the knowledge that your photo is going to come out at least half decent.
Lets wait and see.I dont know if firmware updates can improve your camera (maybe GUCCI can enlighten us a bit on that point)
I always read Steve Litchfield from AAS's reviews on camera capabilities of a paticular device because the guy get really indepth and seems to know what he's talking about.
Its one of the reasons why I relinquished my superb N95-2 cam for a E90 because after reading his review of the E90 camera he left me feeling ok about the downgrade.
Do some serious searching.Im sure it cant be that bad.

GUCCI imagine if Nokia had cracked America.Wow! That country is huge.Maybe its better it didnt.Motorola would have been dead and buried a long time ago if they had.

...just imagine how many Fords i can get my hands on with that kind of money

Ye thats so true, and the old STs actualy look realy good, wouldn't mind one myself. WOW! Ye, The new Corsa OPC realy is a beauty, lets hope it doesnt suffer from 'Torque Steer' like its bigger OPC version the Astra, the new Fieastas start from around R158000-R169000 excluding the new ST which aint here yet, so not too bad, makes VW POLOs look overpriced, which they are. Have you seen the Golf 6? Now will be the perfect time to get the current GTI which in my opinion still is one of the best looking hatchbacks.
Hobbs
Yep they can improve camera via firmware updates, like how SE did to the P1 by removing the green tint, lets wait for the 5800xm fw update change log to see if Nokia did anything to the camera, i dont see why they couldnt just use the N73's camera unit in 5800.
LOL yah thats true MOTO would've died in no time, as if the iPhone, and BlackBerrys havent already done enough damage so are Nokia pulling out of the USA?

Ye, I've got a few images of that Golf 6, I guess I didn't want to believe it would be the new G6. I thought it was the first design concepts or something, you know like a prototype. I mean, lol, where's the grill? It's ugly, imo. The new polo on the other hand looks awesome though
So what's this?
