@ Kryptik:
Ya just about finished. Just waiting for DHL to deliver an item and then we're all sorted.
The shops (and roads) are absolutely manic here too. Recession? What recession? LOL.

Got up at 8am to go do Xmas shopping at Sandton this morning, when we left at 1:30pm it was already packed, there was barely any parking there when we left .
I seem to have a bad habit of getting my Xmas presents 2days before Xmas, got my N81 on the 23rd last year, and got a realy sweet watch and some other stuff today, all i do on the 25th is chill with the family lol.

@ Gucci:
Have you considered dressing up as a certain Dark Knight for Christmas? Apparently the costume and a bit of mistletoe is quite an irresistible combo for the fairer gender :

What are you talking about? I AM THE DARK KNIGHT LOL!
All
It just hit me, exatly a year ago i got my N81, and to this day still not a single sign of cracked gaming keys or lose slider, it hasnt needed to go to the service center even with all the stupid things ive done to it like changing product codes, having 2 failed FW updates, ,messing around in its FS while it was hacked, the drops, and scratches etc. . . .and everything still works just fine, lets see if it will make it through 09 without a glitch.

Ah, the omnipresent mods are indeed around and have dealt with the 'member' accordingly.

Taken from GSMArena:
The next generation Xperia phones: Made in Taiwan (LOL):
'The next generation of Windows Mobile powered devices by Sony Ericsson presumably won't be HTC-made. Instead, Sony Ericsson will entrust their new smartphone production to a Taiwan-based company called Mobinnova.
The Taiwanese Mobinnova already have experience with mobile phones production under their Foxconn Electronics brand but we can only guess the reason behind that decision of Sony Ericsson (if true at all). Perhaps they are after a better differentiation of their products or are reluctant of using their main WinMo competitor as OEM.
Of course, nobody is really sure whether there would be a new XPERIA, and if there is one, whether it will be based on Windows Mobile at all.
Nevertheless let's hope that future gadgets will exceed the fascinating XPERIA.'

One more day of shopping madness, guys. Today i refuse to venture further than my front gate. As Wanqa said, what recession? They're literally shopping until they drop.
