Ok sorry to bring up dead and buried stuff, but I need a little help with this homebrew stuff, got my 2Gb duo arriving tomorrow and thought I should wipe the dust off my PSP...
I have download 6 games and this is what they have in the file
4 Folders
eg: 1)Ape (EBOOT.PBP) 2)APE_GAME(LOADS OF FILES INCL SYSDIR) 3)APE%(eboot.pbp) 4)Common (prx files)
so where the hell do I put all these files etc on the memory stick I am guessing I have to create folders etc so any help will be much appreciated,,

It took me a while to work it all out but I think this is where they all go.
APE (containing eboot.php) goes is x:\PSP\GAME
APE% (also comtaining eboot.php) also goes in x:\PSP\GAME
APE_GAME (conatining loads of files) goes in the root directory eg. x:\APE_GAME
Common (prx files) also goes in the root directory eg. x:\Common
Make sure you have a UMD in the drive then go to Memory Card under game section in the menu and it should work. Or they have worked for me

Ok thats excellent, now I thought that you dont need a UMD inside anymore? and if so the only damn UMD I have is a demo disc of movies etc...that came with my Jap Psp..I wonder if that will work..
Last question will I need anything else or the launchers are in the files named above?

Maybe you won't need a UMD but when i got Wipeout pure it says that you do and when I load the game it definately reads from it at some point.
And both games I have downloaded have the launchers with them and I have exactly the same files as you so I think you should be OK.
If not all launchers are available HERE

I guess I'm going to sleep now, as I can't be bothered to wait, as it'll probably happen tomorrow.

2.0 has avi support?? where did you read that?
z you should know theres now a browser that runs off the ms (Tenchi no Mon browser) thats better and faster than the wipeout one. check pspcrazy, you can grab it from there...
no need to update...
(unless you have 1.51/2)

mmm could this v2 be any slower? Think I'll stick to pocket pc. still has a cool factor. Can keep my blue theme now so worth it just for that.
