i'm definately getting a white one.
Dont worry, it might disable current homebrews but what you have to remember is that this is all software.
So it means there must be a value that can be changed to allow homebrews again.

I will think about selling my other psp(1.51) and get a white 1 if sold on lik-sang.
Got an idea, 1 Black psp 1 White psp.
We could make a limited Edition customised psp. Take the black psp and put the white psp, analog D-pad and X O [] /\ ect ect buttons vice verse. It would look cool.

Well I think Version 2 is going to be locked down like a b*tch, Sony I am sure has been working hard at this. And dont be suprised just like we have all been waiting for someone to release the unlocker for the 6680 this is probably going to be the same story.
Another thing they probably might add to version two similar to Service Pack 2 in XP is a forced download of any new updates..seeing as most of you will probably be connecting to wireless for the net.

This v2.0 f/w is the one we have been waiting for and talked about near the beginning of this thread but then there was no Homebrew scene.
It may be a tough decision though I will stick to my current 1.50 to use ISO launchers.
Future developments will hepl decide i.e. future cracks and homebrew or not and advantages or necessities for the upgrade.
The white PSP has been know for a long time also and was posted here along woth a range of other colours such as yellow, blue, patterned and even a white Gran Turismo model.
I may end up buying a white one to have v2.0 f/w and keep the black one on 1.50
