R2AG001 = Not out yet, still a developers only version

EMMA II = SE's server that they have all of their firmware updates on

R2AG is not developer version.

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

SEUS definitely does not have R2AG yet as I updated someone's K700i yesterday and it got R2AE.

@ a4turbos

Are you sure you got R2AG?

@a4turbos

Have you got an O2 phone by any chance? Maybe from Germany?

Nope, phone purchased from onestopphoneshop in the UK. Sim free so no bastardised S/W on it.

The phone was upgraded by the carphonewarehouse in Belfast about 2 weeks ago and the R2AG software was installed. Seems to run ok, battery life may have improved a bit, other than that it seems stable.

@ a4turbos

Do OSPS do SIM-free handsets? I was interested in the price, so I had a look on their website, but I couldn't find anything.

Apparently all their handsets are sim free...or so they told me.
I made it blatently clear that the phone they sent me better be sim free or it would be going straight back to them.

I previously had a T610 with vodafone crap on it and never again. Im sure it would be much easier to modify the original SE setup to incorporate a few vodafone live settings. Rather than making that god awful four colour menu.
