im really surprised that its not compatible with 98. I thought 98 was still the best version of windows..

i have the millenium and still cant create a back up and download files directly to my P800. Someone said i need to upgrade my firmware and i might have to do that on saturday at the service center. I also had a problem with figuring out my GPRS but rog said it might have the same configuration as the T300 so i will find out about this also on saturday perhaps.

D_G is short for dubai Gunner as im an ardent Arsenal fan..

i think rog mentioned something about 98 and its incompatibility with the P800 which is a shame I think. Dont you have a PC (running on win 2000 or later version)at work or something where u could sync and create a back up on the the PC???

Cheers

Yeah D_G I do have some XP machines available at work, but I'm not to keen with the idea that I can't manage backups at home. Murphy's law probably learns me that my p800 goes bananas when I'm a few days of. Let's just hope the suite will work with 98se, or the memory stick backup feature is added to the phone's firmware.

marky mark,
guess what!! im having problems also with my windows Me. I cant create back ups and download files which it should really. I went to the service center today and the guy shocked me by saying that the Me is not compatible. last time i checked in the manual it said its compatible with Me and also the guy told me its compatible with 98..weird. In the, it says its only compatible with Me, 2000 and XP. that should put me on safe side but not sure about 98.
I also agree with u that i will have to also do these things at work where i have the XP while i need to do those at HOME. I didnt think the guy knew much really...will keep u updated if i get any new info!
cheers
