Rammstein is quite popular in SA, granted I've only ever heard one of their songs played on radio...I believe they have a loyal fanbase.

I'm looking forward to one of these days seeing one of the "Treffer" compilations on there...it would be funny...coz I know some people buy the music just many won't admit to it.

Rammstein remains the most awesome live band that I have seen to date. No question. I can still remember the heat of the flame throwers from the stage..

As regards the 'Treffers', well I cringe at the very thought. As a 'soutie' I've got as much appreciation for those 'Treffers' compilations as Uncle Bob has for Gordon Brown.

Good morning all, hope you'll have a fantastic Friday, and a brilliant Wan Tu Yu as well, Jojo

I'm valiantly trying to get ready for work here, but after reading about those Treffers i can't stop laughing! My favourite neighbour has the entire collection, i swear, and he lurves playing them over the Festive Season. Reason why i'm laughing, coupla years back we had popped over the road to greet him and his family. One of his discs was playing, he was sleeping, and must've had a bad dream, because he came flying out of the bedroom, one leg stuck into his jeans, the other flopping about, and the poor dude falling all over the floor trying to get dressed, shouting at the top of his voice about how somebody was trying to steal his Treffers! Hehehe twas hilarious!! To his credit, he didn't blink an eye when he realized that he'd been dreaming, instead he managed to get dressed and sat there laughing with us
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

Hey all.

I see the N76 is being recalled due to complaints before it's even officially been released. And the K850 got a sterling review as expected.

I read an article about a nokia battery exploding and sending a bolt of electricity (?) across the room. I'm smelling over acting for a lawsuit here.

The Springbok Nude Girls...glad to hear that they're still going.
Battery 9 is/was one of my fave SA bands, as well as DieVersion. Last time I saw them was at The Doors night club in Edenvale, Jozi, back in 2001.

@ Jojo,
LMAO, that must be some sacrifice, giving up wild girl Lindsay Lohan for that new 'Busa.
Yeah, the all-out speed machine does look very bulbous with all that streamlined, curvy bodywork.

BTW, I used the Nokia 3230 back then for those low-lit Rammstein concert pics.

@ Siosal,
Ya the N76 has ben on sale here for a while now, but not a single network here has bothered to stock it...

...and Lewis Hamilton is cleared of any skullduggery that eminated during the atrocious Jap GP, ahead of this weekend's Chinese F1 Grand Prix.
What a rookie year he's had; story book stuff.
