Most Annoying Question

Posted by scotsboyuk
We have all seen questions posted again and again and again ... and again, but which question is the most annoying to have repeated?

My vote goes to "What is the highest capacity memory stick for the P800/P900?"

Posted by Vlammetje
I vote for 'How do I remove the operator logo on my Txxx?'

Second place goes to: 'PLEASE HELP!'

Posted by Lynx69
No its 'My T610 keeps crashing/slowing what do i do?'
[edit] Masseur should know because he has memorised all the questions here

Well, I guess asking 'Q's about celfone related products is what esato is all about - right? No matter how the members ask in the cajoling/whining manner. The 'Q' that bothers me most seeing is the: "I am new here at esato . . . ." , then majority would just reply: "welcome at/to esato . . . . ." !!! If you can call that a 'Q' ?

The most annoying question for me, is when someone asks a question with really bad grammar. This applies to replies aswell. I know mine isn't perfect, but some are so bad its just impossible to read.

other than that... its the questions where people ask something that could easily be tested in about 10 seconds.
"what happens if i press the power button on my phone?"

"Why should I buy a [insert phone model here]?"

Posted by kimcheeboi
One that's been pissing me off lately--"i've got gmail accounts, what will you give me for one?"

Posted by *Jojo*
or . . . . .. "what do you think is the best fone?"

Posted by kimcheeboi
What about "which is better: s700 or p900?"

people who do ot have english as their first language at least try, where people who do have english as their first language more and more often use 'sum srt of txt spk 2 mk it all fstr 2 rd + no1 needs 2 really no wot they saying + y anyway'

ANYTHING written in unintelligible abbreviations is not only annoying, but shows a complete disrespect by the poster to anybody who reads it.

Posted by Elrond
@Vlammetje You're right. I need read it two times to realise what does it means.

I know, that my english is not good, but I try to learn it.

Also most repeated question is What's better: xxx or xxx, or Why should I buy this or I GOT IT and do not forget NEED HELP

I go for "Help!" and "Synchronization problem!"

Posted by scotsboyuk
@Vlamm

Here here! I couldn't agree with you more if I had a degree in agreeing from Oxford and was wearing my agreement hat! Seriously though, abbreviations are somewhat irritating and rude; is it really that much effort to type the whole word, even from a phone?

@masseur

What is your most annoying question? (This one doesn't count )

I agree with

"What is the highest capacity memory stick for the P800/P900?"

I think that esato should change to "128mb and below club"

My own vote would be any 'flame war' provocative questions

yeah, 'text speak' is pretty annoying; plus @tranquil can't stand it!

hmmm how can i disable the clock screensaver

Posted by kimcheeboi
or "my IMEI number is blocked!" or "Invalid mobile?"

Posted by wapchimp
where are the secret games in xxxx

Posted by Sammy_boy
Even when your first language is english I often can't read what is says until I've re-read it a few times!

@kim - oops. I posted an 'invalid mobile' question yesterday. Sooooorry!

I also find the most annoying questions are those that keep popping up asking about free ringtones/games/backgrounds etc. Try either using Google, or failing that put your hand in your pocket!

Posted by kimcheeboi
@sammy-:lol: its ok

oh yeah and i ahve a funny story about some kid who say my post that i willl give tones to whoever requests. his name was like "girlslovetoseme" and he im'ed me while i was at a party

so then i told him im sorta talking to this girl and leave me the hell alone, he kept im'ing me so i told him i would get back to him the next day. next day i wake up to find 20 messages from this kid. SO im like ok, fine, search mkstyles on google wap and you will find a great tagtag site dedicated to hip hop and rap ringtones. then he asks me what wap and google are and i told him to use google

then i warned him to 35% and blocked him. the next day, i get an im asking for free ringtones from "kobeissocool". hmmmmmm... not fooled here... so i just told him to search mkstyles on google wap.

well this kis kept bothering me for 3 weeks until i emailed AOL and he hasn't bothered me since! i hope they blocked his ip as i requested

'bluejacking' 'Qs' . . .

Posted by Sutitan
"How much will (insert phone name here) cost and when will it come out"

Posted by Krubach
@Sutitan  I must agree with you

Posted by SCORPIONKING1982
I vote for the "why do you hate nokia" threads! bloody sad if u ask me!

What About When People Type Like This

Posted by *Jojo*
@KIMCHEEBOI - OR MAYBE LIKE THIS! I REMEMBER A MEMBER WHO POSTED LIKE THIS . . . . HE SAID THAT HIS LEFT INDEX FINGER GOT STUCKED/GLUED WITH THE CAPS LOCK KEY ! tehehehehehehehe . . .

Posted by kimcheeboi
Or people who are just plain stupid and ask shit like "why won't my windows programs install on mac?"

Posted by rdnymllnsktr
I have many questions. Sorry. It bugs me when people ask about unbranding their phone combined with the 13 second trick. I also hate when people ask the difference between the T610 and the T616. I have so many other questions that I hate, but it'd take up so many pages, I figured I'd only say the 2 ones I have the most.

Posted by Lynx69
What does Esato mean?

Posted by 50Cent
most annoying non-phone question: "are you awake??" - it really gets on my nerves for sum reason/

most annoying phone question: where can i find good ringtones for my

Twista

Posted by Atlis
Basically I agree with most of you. Operator's logo question is fantastic! ;-)

Posted by Phychlone
The question "Are you alright?" whilst laying on the floor writhing in agony having just stacked it..........................and my two pennies worth..I have to agree with "does Pxx support XYZ memory stick?"

However I'll also say the most annoying answer I often see is "Use the search"....if you're gonna go to the trouble of writing that you may as well aswer the question! (Assuming the answer is short!)

Posted by rdnymllnsktr
Hey hey hey. I say ''Use the search'', but also answer the question.

Posted by switchbitch
'Who is v******a is the most annoying question simply because whenever anyone asks it, it gets deleted or censored.
Edit: HEY!!!!!!!

most annoying question: when is the s700 coming out?

Posted by switchbitch
The most annoying answer is most definately "Use the search!"

Posted by bossjohnc
I go for the MS Duo capacity question. Countless threads discuss the answer in fine detail!

Vermania

ok... that didn't get edited - assume it's some kind of joke! (not really that much of a regular around here anymore so I don't really understand!)

I'd just vote for any question whose answer is in the owner's manual...even before using the search, do your own little research!
