i think the avatars are great, but occasionally i get sick of my avatar and like to change (hence the z1010
). but the problem is they are not accurate enough as to tell you what phone the member owns. i have a p800 and a t200 not a z1010 but i want one. so i was thinking wouldnt it be a good idea if underneath the 'from' and 'posts' bit underneath your avatar maybe a 'owned phone' function that allows other users to see what phone (s) you own. this would be very useful because people would know which phone the person they are PMing or replying a post to owns which would help a lot. i dont know what phone say masseur owns or cytech for sure so i dont know whether to ask them direct questions about my phone. or even non-mods that have been here ages or even just a member you never know if they have the phone you are quering about. if they dont, then you know what kind of question to ask.
do you see what i mean? like if there was someone posting up videos for the p800 i dont know whether they own a 800 or 900 so i am not sure what kind of question to ask.

Agreed. Since most people don't really choose their own phone as their avatar (as discussed so many times before), this would be a good thing.

I don't even ask a special e700 avatar, but maybe it would be a good idea to have a non-SE avatar since there are also nokia owners here.
