New Orange SIM Update Problem

I recently installed the new sim card sent by Orange, unfortunately now when anyone rings their name (stored in contacts) is not displayed. Is this happening to anyone else and does anyone have a solution, as it is really annoying not knowing who's calling.

Also how many Cd's should you be able to store on a 128mb card using Ogg, as I only seem to be able to stick two albums on the card before I get a full up message?

Firstly, ring Orange Customer Services and ask for your SIM updates again. Surely it's common sense to ask them first?

Second, you can rip OGG files at a lower bitrate than MP3 and still maintain quality. Currently on my MSD I have about 30 tracks in mp3 format, so you should be able to fit a bit more than that on if you compress them more efficiently.

Sorry to be really stupid, but where are the contact numbers stored, in the phone or on the SIM card? At present I have around 175 names & numbers stored on the phone so there is no way these were stored on the old SIM card (the new one apparently holds 200).

I have now thrown away the old SIM card so there is no way I can get any info off of that, so how do I get the callers number to display when they call?

It's one of the SIM updates. It provides the phone with the callerID feature you want. If you do have that many contacts and you had either the white or orange sim before (and you now have the blue one) then your numbers will be stored on the phone.

You just need your SIM updates.

IMO i dont think .OGG is too brilliant. not for the quality but the fact that it doesnt increase the amount of tunes you can hold by THAT much...not enough to warrent converting them from mp3 to .ogg EVERY morning for travel etc.
