Let's keep pestering the SE service point @ goldhill Centre or Jurong.
Cos when you ask them questions, they usually say we r not sure...

hmm... really like the offer that M1 is giving... the one with T68m with Ipaq 3870.... but i want a T68i instead
:<
that time i was at lucky plaza they are offering t68i with bluetooth headset for 700 plus... did anyone get that?
i saw a ad on paper the commnicam mca 20 is sold at 238...
Anyone have offer to sell their t68i?
i currently having a t68m
Posted by dan47
Hi! Can you post as to how much and where the shop selling the mca 20? Thanks alot
Posted by TonyG
Yo! I am from Singapore too. Our SE service centre is slow in bringing
in the MMS SW for T68. Still waiting for their reply.
Posted by JasonDeFaoite
I'm not sure what you guys expect SE Singapore to do about the MMS upgrade. Why are u complaining they are slow bringing it in, it hasn't been released yet! You expect them to write it themselves or what?

It will be here this month, just chill

Its not the SW that is the problem. Well they are a bit slow lar. Actually I tot that at least if you launch a phone, you will launch the battery that goes with the phone. I have been looking for the T68i battery but I don't think that I will be able to find it. But I will try the one at Kallang and ask them if they have. Because I called the Goldenhill one, they don't seem to know anything.

i dunno wat shop is selling the mca 20....
cos on the papers there is a listof shop ( friday Straits time) i think i saw one of the shopp is at lucky plaza,,,, can go check it out there

in regards to the SW... gottoo wait lah .... rush themn also no use...
i see that the ppl at SC are also using t68m so i think they themself are eager about the upgrade... give them some peace in their work lah

I would advice the best SC to go and ask on your problems will be at Kallang Pudding. At least the counter guys or girls know the product well and can immediately answered your queries or rectify it. The one at Goldhill Plaza is useless. The girls there will tell you everything "I don't know" or " Not sure". Sigh!!!
Posted by clody
You said it man, the people there always put me on hold when I ask a question... Put on hold so long... Anyway can I know the phone number to call the Kallang Pudding one?
Posted by TonyG
The Kallang Pudding SC Tel Nos will be:-
67440733, 67497717, 67494457

Does anyone here know whether the T68 battery can be used for the T68i phone?
Posted by Ah_Seow
although i dun have t68i...
but even if u can put the 168m batt on 168i..
it will look freaking ugly rite?
Posted by clody
oh... Hum because I really need a original battery badly and that I can't find the T68i one... The battery I am using now is fake as the person sold it to me was an export set. Actually the colour is ok... Quite nice because black can also go with the artic blue... So is it possible?
Posted by orang3
i saw a pic of t68i with t68m batt looks awaful...

I'll be visiting SG during the second half of May and would like advice on the best carrier to use with my SE T68 while I'm in SG. In addition to GSM, I'd also like to send/receive text messages. Right now, I'm "leaning" toward Singtel because they have a 24-hour location at Changi Airport.
Also, IF I have any problems with my phone while I'm in SG, WHERE do I go to get service from SE?
Posted by tomho
Would I be able to take my T68 to SE service centre in SG to get it converted to T68i?
Posted by TonyG
Well tomho, the Sony Ericsson Service Centre address in Singapore is as follow:-
50, Kallang Pudding Road
Golden Wheel Industrial Bldg
#05-02A
Tel: 67440733,67497177,67494457
or
1 Goldhill Plaza (Podium Block)
#01-33 (off Newton Road)
Singapore 308399
Tel:63520200
I would recommend you to go to Kallang Pudding Road SC, their equipment set up are more complete and the Customer Service people there are more informative. If small problems they can do it while you are waiting.

I just need to know if it still works fine if I use that battery with the T68i. Because I am in real need of one original one.
Posted by mrbunglez
yo tomho, i would suggest using singtel as a provider cuz i would think they have the best coverage in singapore, next choice would be M1.. but the 24hr office at the airport is definitely going to make it much easier for you.
their stored value cards are called HI!cards and you should have no problem with sms and IDD calls..
how long are you staying for?
Posted by tomho
I guess that I'll be "in the market" for a new T68i while in SG because I think that my phone is "locked" to AT&T Wireless so Singtel warned me that I might not be able to use it in SG! Any suggestions on where to buy an "UNlocked" T68i in SG?

i think all phones that are sold here are unlocked so no need to worry. you can buy at any phone shops you can find here. you can also buy from singtel and m1 but i think theirs will be more expensive.
