Like D-U-H! But what was it

I have done a little research and found the following...

Here is laffens first post made on 10th August 2001 18:56

Esato site launched

however, as obvious as it might have seemed, that was not the first post, that was post number 2

post number 1 belongs to davyboy a full 10 hours prior to laffens at 10th August 2001 08:51

I know that this works on the T28 and the R320, and I should believe that it works on all models up (as Ericsson seem to Re-Use their software for their mobiles).
You can access the Ericsson Service/Engineering Menu on your phone by coming to your standby screen (the one with the operator name on it). Then press > * < < * < * and you will see a whole new menu appear, which can test out most of the phones abilities, like all the keys, the microphone, speaker, ringer, screen. It will also tell you every phrase it knows in your chosen language, and if you have a flip phone, it will tell you how many times you have opened your flip!

Enjoy

Why won't it interest me! It never hurts to know esato's heritage.

What happened to davyboy? He was the very first poster of all, but then he didn't do any more posts at all... .

Posted by bossjohnc
Thing that makes me laugh is the user "Charly" who then posts:

"This must be the fourth person to say these worthles things... in some days from now an idiot will probably post something like.

Hey lokk thers neww games in the T68 do this..blah blah...

Anyone else sick and tired ?"

err... that was the first ever post to the forum my friend!!

Posted by whizkidd
Yeah me interested too in knowing where davyboy is !

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Isnt it weird that this Daveboy only ever made one post!

Posted by Krubach
Maybe he's still around but with a different username...

Posted by JiggyJaggy
I would have thought when you change your username it updates all the previous posts. This was the case for one of the other users on Esato....he has simply dissappeared!

Maybe he was just a V.I.P on the opening day!!!

Posted by Krubach
I can imagine one situation where someone just makes a new registration...

Posted by JiggyJaggy
I dont get it??

Posted by Krubach
I would make a drawing, but esato has no plugin to do it...

You registered as "JiggyJaggy" right?
You make one post.
Then you make a new registration as "JaggyJiggy".
And make 10 posts.

Only you know that they're both the same person, the system does not! For the system "JiggyJaggy" and "JaggyJiggy" are two different persons.

If you never post again as "JiggyJaggy" everyone would say: "Heck! He disappeared!", although you post 500 more times as "JaggyJiggy"

Maybe "daveboy" made a new registration under another nickname...

Get it now?!?!?!

Maybe 'davieboi' knows????

http://www.esato.com/board/bb_profile.php?mode=view&user=23561

But it seems highly unlikely it's the same person

Posted by marik
yeah he probably does. I thought davyboy sounded familiar. Probably is the same guy.
