Welcome in 2013 and welcome to the January photocam shootout "Numbers".
I always liked the easy themes with lots of creative posibillities like 'red' 'fire' or 'W'.
What I want to see in your entry is a number somewhere or somehow, be creative.
Anything is fine as long as there is a number visible. Good luck.
Example; a lock and Churchill.
Yes, Churchill didn't make the Peace sign there, he ordered two whiskey.
Rules:
Photo must be taken this month by you, with a phone.
You can change your submitted photo one time only.
Photo must be uploaded to the Esato photo section so we can read the exif.
Small sized picture plus a link to the full size photo should be posted in this thread. (very easy with the cam-icon in the toolbar).

True, but i always try to find a picture rather than create one by simply sticking a few objects together for the sake of the competition.

One way or another, we always manipulate picture. More or less.. You see an object and stick it in the camera frame from different angles.. What is that called? Isn't it a manipulation ?
We all have different tastes, opinions, to see things differently. With all respect, we should not dishonour other's effort to entre the competition.

I don't normally have much imagination when it comes to these types of themes I just take part. I am best at either landscape city scapes or night shots. If I have so offended you etaab with my bits thrown together shot then I'm not sorry

I'm the complete opposite, then. I find it better manipulating pics than finding a good shot as it is. It takes me a loooong time to fish out my phone that the opportunity passes me by.

Heh, neither of you two guys efforts arent that what i mean.
A few months back we had the colours competition. Someone simply stuck a few different coloured smarties together and spelled Esato. Now thats fun and all, but it wasnt something nobody couldnt do.
Remember the moving on theme ? the book and the candle ? setup, but beautifully done. Relevant, as are your entries this month. My original comment meant i simply do not mean to photograph any old number after Hans said they're everywhere.
They might be everywhere, but im not going to just take a picture of my front door to enter the picture.

If you have a beautiful front door I see no problem.
I was trying to say that a photo of a tree is also good as long as you can see the license plate of the car that's parked there also.

It's unusual for me.
You know,changing nicknames and all.
At my national forum we have a strict policy of changing nicknames:
You can only change a letter or a number but the whole nick has to be reckognizable.
And here on Esato and a few other forums the mods aren't gonna kill me if I make a new thread with the same subject as in the other thread

At my local forum the guys from the sub-forum Photography (or one part of the forum,whatever
) are friendly.The mods are also friendly.They occasionaly meet to check out new camera gear and have a nice time,sometimes they even go to an abandoned place in town and shoot the location.I plan to have a meeting soon.
And that's what forums are for - to run away from the life problems

Nice entries,finally!
I just won a photo competition on my country's forum called Humour.It was a car with some eyelashes
So for the next theme I chose Snow and I'll be able to choose the first three and comment on every photo!
