Guys I've lost follow to Sony's Mobile Models since few months ago... Is it only me that all the models look same and their naming policy also more difficult to track? Few months ago when somebody asked me about any model from SonyEricsson then I could tell all the specifications with eyes close... but now I even don't know which is what...
How do you follow or remember?

Well follow it like this. Xperia S=Shit,Xperia P=Piss,Xperia U=Useless I know what you mean though it gets confusing with many manufacturers but Sony seems to have lost the plot. But I still love em

Couldnt agree more. Sony's phones have looked terrible for ages. The best last memorable phone was the Arc design.

Their outgoing flagship, the Xperia S and all its little brothers and sisters are so alike in looks i cant tell one from the other. Their new phones are better looking and feel better in the hand, but also look cheap and nasty at the same time.

I know 007 will be using a Sony T, but it looks like a budget handset imo. They need to bring back some Arc design types and add some more colour to their drab Android skin.

Looking at that photo it is likely to confuse consumers but also not every model is on the high street anyway. For some reason Sony flagships don't scream high end to me like others do like Samsung,HTC. Don't know why can't put my finger on it. HTC got like that at one point releasing too many that were looking like twins and with similar specs. Sony has released too many phones imo

You're not the only one who lost track with Sony models. All brands do it, samsung, HTC, specially RIM, even Nokia with N9 & Lumia 800 900 920

Super Lol Sean
That photo took from gsmarena.com Sony phone section by Print-screen.

At least we can tell the names of flagship models from HTC, Samsung when we see... but about Sony... All look same...
Why they produce too many models in identical design? HTC did that and they agreed, it was not good to produce too many phones in a year so they learned their lessons and said, only few models will release each year.

i gave up long ago, the only ones i know are the T, S, P and U. Even their hardware is pretty much the same.

They are doing the very thing that got SE into trouble in 2008, releasing the same damn thing in a different box, no innovation or major differentiation in the range. The Xperia T is supposed to be a flagship, but it just doesnt stick out as one, its a damn shame, i thought we'd see more from Sony.

LOL!! Bono, thats a good way to look at it.

That's what I'm saying since the beginning of the year! But all the fanboys are like "Oh no, you're blind, every model has something unique, bla bla bla, they're the best, shit shit shit...". 2011 Xperias are really beautiful and each one really has something unique, while the 2012 Xperias are just 20+ identical bland ugly bricks. Just take a look at this:

@Bonovox, @etaab, @adnansanni and @Tsepz_GP - EXACTLY!!!

Yeah at least Samsung and HTC at least they release one or two high end then the rest mid to low. Sony just release loads of high end all with same specs yet in a slightly different body. Like the T & TX. What's the difference between those two?? Xperia P is a good device spoilt by a 1,300 mAh battery. Xperia Trash,sorry T is their flagship but seems worse than the V. Its confusing and consumers will scratch their heads.
