I am having trouble with synchronising Hotmail account via ActiveSync on my W995. There was a big hype on the web around August 2010 all about Hotmail now finally allowing synchro..
Everytime I try to sync with my account, I get "Session failed, communication error. Check settings". Options > Status shows "HTTP Status: 503".
Here's my setup as recommended by many websites (I believe it works on another manufacturers phones)
server addr: http://m.hotmail.com
domain: (leave blank)
username: (myusername@hotmail.com)
password: (my hotmail password)
Applications: email only checked, secure conn off, enable local conn & internet settings definitely good.
Internet is working, username and password are definitely good also.
Hotmail works fine for me via POP3/SMTP, but I really need push e-mail.
Anyone got good config / guidance? Anyone with Symbian or Android device got different settings?
