The GS88 Communicator "Penelope" was developed in 1997 but was never released to the market.

Some years ago I found one of these in a thrift store, but the antenna is missing. Do anyone know what antenna was used, and if any other Ericsson mobile on the market used a similar antenna?

Any chance of some pictures of this phone please. Also any info on build date, and build country, and if interested in selling it.

How do I add pictures?

@Altitune: hi!

You have two ways:

By clicking the icon inside the blue "circle"

Or using this link: http://www.esato.com/board/uploadimage.php

Great pics, shame there is no Ericsson branding on the outside of it. Wish I could find one.

You always have the "Three Sausages" logo over the earpiece and the extra gizmo on top of the phone...

What is the bit that unplugs from the side of the phone, looks abit like an antena.

Are you talking about the antenna hold?

(From http://pws.prserv.net/Eri_no_moto/GS88_Preview.htm )

And this is how it looks if you look closely (AND AGAIN: do anyone know an antenna that could fit?):
