wayfinder maploader problem

hello im trying to install the preloaded maps with wayfinder maploader so i dont have to download as much with mobile network when using it.

but the problem is i cant get the maploader to see my memory stick it just wants to load the maps to the phone memory but even when i try that it wont let me as the phone memory only has 60mb free on it

the maploader says you have to have a memory card as that is where it will install them but it wont do it??

i have tried the phone in phone mode and mass storage and even in linux and mtb mode for car stereos etc in the usb connection settings

so i have no idea?

my phone is a w995
