How to Download MP3s, Music Videos and Video Clips using OM 4.2 Editable Server (Globe & Smart)
Due to instability of the services of our beloved Globe particularly in FB and UB,
here's some modified tricks i've tried and now i'm sharing with you.
(if ever there's an early posts of these tricks, my apology and sincere thanks to the original authors):
THE RIP TRICK
On your Phone's Settings:
Set Proxy to global-4-lvs-seele.opera-mini.net or its numeric value 80.239.242.253 @ port 80
Set HTTP SERVER:
http://wap.portal.globe.com.ph/
http://wap.smart.com.ph/
Set FRONT QUERY:
wap.portal.globe.com.ph
wap.smart.com.ph
Set REMOVE STRING FROM THE URL:
global-4-lvs-seele.opera-mini.net

It can download different file types (.flv, .mp4, .dat, .exe, etc...) except .jar and .jad files

Pag nkta mo na file na ida download mo, click d title, select wat typ of file, i.e. 3gp, den click mo save, allow and select destination folder.

@mrjulius, eto bro, try mo ung configurations ko sa taas, eto gamit ko ngayon...mabilis xa at accurate ang download compared to UCWeb na minsan e lumalagpas sa filesize nya...

Un nga bro, editable ang kelangan, just configure ung OM 4.2 as indicated above. Pwd din xa magDL ng .exe at .com files.

@aqua, d ko pa ksi na try yang OM2.x eh, accidentally lng pagkadiscover ko knina, pero so far consistent sya in DL, kso lng sa gn0ng cofig, d xa mka DL ng .jar. Balik ulit sa t9.

Good morning! Ahm bat ganun mr swordman? I tried it but it wasn't a success! Using om4.2 editable exclusively made for esato plus the proxy you posted, the system wud say error in fetching file..why's that? I would follow instructions naman!:-(

@walangkatawan, tama ba yun? Literal ata hehe, try mo ulit without ip and port. Workng naman xa kaso lng slower knti. NkpagDL na nga ako more than 10Mb.

Achully, tha's what i kept doing last night, mrswordman! If it didnt work using proxy, i'd switch to non proxy using globe connect/inet but still i wud receive the same error message..

Same as above b tlaga cnfiguration mo? I am really wondering kng bkit d gumagana sa inyo, katunayan, apat na OM4.2 gngmit ko, uchimadara, macneth, express vista, firefox carbon, gumagana lahat ang trick. Npagana ko rn xa sa N6120c. Am using LG KP500 nga pala. Just try and try lng po co-Esatons... I'm really enjoying Downloading sa OM4.2, seldom ko na gnagamit UCweb ko. Saka take note po, di xa gumagana sa .jar files, use t9 instead.

Certainly, i checked my config to see to it that it's flawless not just once, not twice but a lot of times! I just dnt know with other versiöns of 4.2, if the same prob wud occur..alternatively, i use default browser for dloading!

@future, k naman speed nya so far, it took me almost 3mins sa 1.6-1.8mb na mp3, 2G signal. Mas mabagal xa compared to ucweb, pero mas consistent xa.
