2.5mm headset adapter - Esato archive

The headset adapter that came with my T68i sucks. I have some plantronics ones that I really like, but they have a standard 2.5mm plug. I bought an adapter from my local attws store, but couldn't get it to work. I took it back, and they tried another one with my plantronics heaset. That didn't work. They tried one of their headsets, and it didn't work. Then they tried another t68, and it didn't work either. Hmm. I guess they could have had a bad batch of adapters.

Has anyone used a headset adapter? This one had an attws part number of HE0800. Anyone have any experiences? Suggestions? Links?
