C903 pics anyone? Keep them coming.

Posted by tranced
Is this phone already out?

Posted by davidsic
I don't thing it's a good idea to create a new topic for the C903 because it's the same camera of the C902.

Posted by lel0uch
I thought C903 uses samsung camera hardware. Its annoying to have a samsung camera hardware.

Posted by AbuBasim
Didn't you know chose Samsung just to annoy you?

Posted by mode
@AbuBasim
LOL. Good one mate. Who cares how they outsource as long as it makes a solid SE

@Tranced
Saw a white C903 dummy on display at SonyStyle so I assume it's already out

Posted by tranced
@mode: dummy are easier to make . well, let's hope we get to see these pics soon then

Wow c903 takes really good pic. Congratulation bono, for being the first pic poster of this thread.

Now onwards, i will not visit this thread as it is really painful to be here.

Posted by hihihans

it wasn't a big suprize, somehow I just knew that C901 will be criticized if Plank will appear here

Bonovox can you post some low-light shots? I mean city at night etc.

Posted by plankgatan

Well perhaps we can keep this thread alive. I will post some better shots soon and some low light. It is a very good phone and I am still surprised how fast it is. See my other thread here Am I The Only One on Esato with a c903?

The keypad is comfortable. I love the smooth view finder on the bigger screen than the c902 Only thing I hate is the vibrate its weak. Will do some more shots tomorrow or soon. I updated to latest firmware all seems well.

@Bonovox
Does the image quality really suggest it uses the same cam module as C902? You did use C902 for quite some time so I guess you'd be able to tell

Posted by Bonovox
To me it looks a tad sharper by a fraction but not massive difference. Someone mentioned it uses a Samsung camera module but I have no idea if true. Its a nicer phone to use I would say.

Posted by Raiderski
naahh, it's pure Sony

Posted by Bonovox
Need a bit more time to go take some decent pictures as I am back at work tomorrow. It was someone on here who said about the Samsung camera module. Having recently purchased the Samsung Jet its a far cry from that phone with the same mega pixels. The Samsung Jet camera is superb compared to this. If you see some of the photos I took with the Samsung Jet on Esato not only is the picture quality good its also fantastic in the dark. The LED flash on the Samsung is almost as good as a Xenon easily lighting up over 15 feet away. The Samsung Jet really surprised me. I will be honest the LED on the c903 is terrible. One other thing I notice is despite having a 1000mAh battery and turning off 3G the battery life on the c903 is not the best. Strange.

The photo in the dark room(my room) is the best the LED flash does. On closer inspection there is still a faiir amount of the purple stuff

As I said regarding build quality its fine every other part of the phone except now after 2 days my slider when open at the bottom is rattling its just like the w995 the slide. Crap. I am starting to wonder if Sony Ericsson can ever make anything that can last 5 minutes.

Posted by gayannr
Bonovox, what do you think about C902's LED flash compared to C903 and Sammy Jet ?

Posted by Bonovox
Samsung Jet if you see one or two photos I did put somewhere on here has the best LED flash I have ever seen it esaily reaches over 15 foot away it truly is very good. Much better than the one's I am afraid to say.

Posted by Bonovox
This is what you asked for & this is the Samsung Jet LED flash in the dark. It normally lights up further than this but this was our darkened landing during the day. I could only close the door but you see its a decent LED

yay! I was kinda hoping to buy a Jet, What r u missing from our beloved SE after moving to a Jet ?
What I'm mostly afraid to miss is the option when u get upon disconnecting of the headset while playing music " DO you want to play through the loud speaker " I love this feature and can't live with it, I don't want to let others hear what I listen when the headset is accidentally or mistakenly removed ( I travel by bus and always listen to music, and fall asleep too , so I don't know if the headset is disconnected by itself )

is that available on Jet, ??

Could you make acomparison between the C903 and that Nokia 6700? I believe that the Nokia will perform better.

Posted by Bonovox
Sorry guys to spoil the show but after living with it for some days I decided its shit so I sold it

sory, I thought you have some pictures from c903...

Posted by Bonovox
Sorry i been having a shit day i snapped. Yes it was a lovely phone but i should have listened about reviews on build quality. It seemed ok at first but after just 2 days the slide was rattling. Not side to side but when i pressed the D pad it was rattle. Made using the phone annoying. Nice design nice speedy operation nice camera shame about the rest. Battery life was not so good.

Posted by Bonovox
As someone requested here are 3 ramdom photos taken with the Nokia 6700 comparing it to the c903. The 6700 has the edge but only slightly. It was a very dull day & its far better in sunlight although with the 6700 you really need to keep it very still as it blurs easily

Posted by plankgatan
wait for proper sunshine instead, then you will see better colours and everything
..............there is NO cellphone on earth who create superb pictures during cloudy weather, e.t.c. (for that you need a big, juice DSLR sensor & lens)

Posted by Raiderski
not vivid enough? ok, we all know that pictures taken in full sunlight have much better WOW factor but it's better to post everything and not to focus on the sun only. sun, bees, flowers, enough. of course I agree about dSLR but not in this case, there's no overexposure on Bono pictures and there's not even a single problem with dynamic range (major advantage of dSLR). Bono could take shots with dSLR and you wouldn't be able to see anything else except of much better pixel quality and maybe colors

Posted by xitt
if anyone knows what the camera matrix has the C903?

Posted by Raiderski
it's the same as in C902/W902

Posted by Bonovox
I am sorry I never kept it going I just decided I did not wanna keep it in the end. It was great in many ways but not so in others. Here is another comparison of the c903 & 6700.

C903

Nokia 6700

its just a request
