Adriatic Blue Faceflate Question...?

I recently won an Adriatic Blue Faceplate on ebay.co.uk.

It came this morning in the sony ericsson box, It looks great, Im pretty sure its an original however on the inside there is no holder for the vibrating motor, Is that normal?

I am aware that you have to take the vibrating motor from the old cover, but the holder too? Its just empty along the bottom.

I've never done one before so maybe Im just looking at it wrong!

Thanks in advance for help.

I dont wanna just fit it without it and I dont wanna mess around with it incase it needs to be sent back.

there shld. be a holder in that new casing. in the lower portion on the casing...maybe the casing being delivered to you is defective if it's really original as you've said. holder is just like a clip to hold the vibra motor in place.

hope this will help.

It wasn't cheap either! £32.13 (about €50!)

Do you think the guy has sold me a cover from a dummy phone?

Im gonna email the guy!

Its also missing the plastic bit, just below the joystick in the back.

I love it, but I definitely dont wanna lose the vibration function. Is there a way round it?

Ja99ie, does it have the brass things for the screws in it?

Posted by Ja99iE
The screw holders are blue plastic, the same blue as the cover.

Then it most certainly came off of a display demo phone. Sorry

Thanks.

I'll email the guy now.

Give him hell! I got one of those display phones just to see if it was the same, took it apart and seen the differences, but hey it was only 10 bucks so I figured why not.

Thanks for the advice.

Anyone know where I can get a REAL Adriatic Blue cover for a good price?

I seen one on ebay for 25 usd I thought about buying, just assuming its real though.

Here is the link for it, it looks real. The demo phones have colored things where the leds go, this one looks legit.

Another thing which makes it a dummy for sure, mine has the coloured parts where the leds go! Unfortunately that auction doesn't accept international bidders.

What a nice guy!

He has refunded my money (through paypal) even before he has got his cover back.

I've returned it to him now & Im on the look out for another... Anyone?
