A repost from the Esato News forum where you don't have permission to reply. I would like to have some feedback on this.
We have now done some major changes to the forum post editor. The change will make it easier to format the text and upload and insert images into posts. You will have to sign in before accessing the three pages in question.
Most of the functionality should be self explanatory. Mark some text and try it out. Move the mouse over the icons to read the explaining text.
Tip: To add list bullets to a couple of lines, hold down the CTRL and Shift keys while pressing the List icon

EDIT
As some members have been complaining about they cannot upload pics with the new editor the old way is your best friend: http://www.esato.com/board/uploadimage.php

Any new fancy editor for pms? exactly the same as this new one will do
(oh and while your at it, can we have a PM outbox/sent folder please)
Posted by RyaN
Very nice update indeed! thanks
@yea g I dont think we really need a PM sent folder if we can just archive each one we feel is important enough to save

Does anyone having trouble using the new features? Any JavaScript errors? If so, which browser are you using? The image upload part does not work in Opera Mobile.
A couple of other keyboard shortcuts:
- Ctrl-Enter
- Ctrl-Shift click on List Item icon
- Ctrl-U, Ctrl-I, Ctrl-B, Ctrl-L for text formatting
- Ctrl-G for preview (mouse pointer must be in the edit field for this to work)
- Ctrl-S for save draft

members are saying that when he posts via mobile(using Opera Mini) and firefox they get error when attempting to post. the error is like this:
they click on the post button, the page loads, but then it says that the page is not found or something like that.

Any more info about which version of Firefox this happen, and what exactly the problem is? Is it the NewTopic or Reply page they are talking about? I need to know a little more about the system they are running

If I understand you correct, this error appear when you:
- are signed out and viewing a topic
- clicking on the reply button
- redirects to the login page (because you not are signed in)
- enter member name and password and sign in
- are sent back to the reply page
- write your reply and click the post button

i'm from morocco,i just use my phone to upload photos like this flags but i have prblm to edit pages by my phone, any idea to do it?i use openwave instead opera
Posted by laffen
To upload images, you will have to use a desktop PC and a desktop browser. We haven't created a solution where you can upload images directly from your phone. If Opera Mini is capable of doing so, it is a bonus for those using that browser.
sorry
