sweet the new software....problem is which one should i download? the -b or the -n? What is teh difference btw these two hardware and why is this new widcomm software suite so damn BIG? It better be loaded with good shit cuz ill be expecting alot! It seems like TDK also has the 1.3.2.7 software out but theirs is still the same old 16mb. Im guessing this one has the product manual and everything included....just have to wait and see.

I have downloaded the 1.3.2.7 drivers from Billionton. Tried TDK 1.3.2.7 but they wanted a serial no. Billonton installed with no problems and is the first drivers to accept transfer to and from the phone to PC. Ive tried the other but never worked. These also have the most user friendly setup instruction with the software taking you through step by step.

The link is http://www.billionton.com.tw/extra/download.htm but it is a 66MB download. I downloaded the USBBT02-B / CFBT02-B 1.3.2.7 version.

Hi, I've downloaded the drivers but they don't seem to work with D-Link DBT-120 and windows 2000, at least it doesn't seem to discover my t68i R5C firmware.
Anybody has DBT120, that can share a little light on this.
Thanks

Yes, this programme is really great. Really friendly and you can send files from your T68 to your pc. You can see if you need the -n or the -b software if you look @ the serial number of your dongle..

I run Win XP on my laptop and trying to connect my cfbt-card from Nokia (DTL-1) that only supports Win 98. Though there are people out there that have made it work with XP. I'm searching for drivers for XP.

What about this billionton? Does it maybe have any drivers that I need?

This pack support the CF and USB version of Billionton hardware, includes soft for 98, ME, 2000 XP, Win CE 3.0 (PPC 2000) and Win PPC 2002, i dont know its works with your hardware.

DTL-1 is Bluetooth v1.0b compliant and therefore the only Nokia phone compatible with it is Nokia 6210. Other models (just like t68i) require a v1.1 compliant Bluetooth card, e.g. a DTL-4 or an upgrade from Socket Communications.
(extraxted of a Nokia Forum)

A solution? read this

I'm not that best informed about this software, but it seems like it's a new update for bluetooth hardware, isn't it???
I have a MSI motherboard with onboard Bluetooth. And now I'm using version 1.2.2.15 of the software.
What version is this new software? Is it really an update to my software? Or.... ???????

Please inform me, cause on the site it looked like it's software for USB 2.0. And I don't know what to do now.

for people with MITSUMI USB dongles - you guys can use this driver set by modifying the INF files

Here's my experience with the -b drivers:

I've de-installed the 1.2.2.15 drivers of MSI and installed the other drivers. The installation went fine, and everything was detected without a problem. But after the installation, I wasn't able to set a name for my computer. Everytime I opened the configuration the name was empty. Also in the bluetooth place no service was loaded. It happened earlier also on the drivers of tecom (1.2.2.16) and I had to reinstall winXP because no driver at all was working anymore and it looks like this is happening again.
This whole mess could be resolved by upgrading the firmware, But I don't know it this is possible or advisable (it went wrong once, and I had to replace the MS-6968 thing. I think I am just going to buy a USB dongle, cause that other thing makes me nuts.

If anyone had advice on solving the mentioned problem or if anyone else had the same problem please inform me on how you solved it.

Billionton USB dongle users, tell me what's going on. I just downloaded the software it's 21.17 MB and not 66MB as mentioned but this is not the problem. Once installed, am getting in "the network connections window" two new connections called 1- Bluetooth Network "bluetooth LAN access network" with status: network cable unplugged and the other one 2- local area connection 3 " microsoft TV/Video connection" status: enabled . Now everything works fine until I reboot my PC then the local area connection 3 disappears and i won't be able to use bluetooth again. Am using XP, so anyone knows what's going on? With the previous software, there was the bluetooth network icon enabled with no other connections. What's going on?!?!

Hi, does anyone still have the updated Billionton Bluetooth software? I can't seem to access it on http://www.billionton.com.tw/extra/download.htm and their drivers page isn't much help!
