K810i joystick only select items

Well i bought a K810i off ebay..and the person said it only need new keypad,so when i got it,i tried it out but when i opened the stupid thing and power it up,its the joystick thats being weird,all it can do is select menus..but sometimes it actually moves left and right..but it select it at the same time >_<.
I have tried cleaning the joystick with Contact cleaner 3-5times and theirs no improvements at all...so whats best course of action now??
1.Since i got no warrenty it cost me to send it to repair to the repair center
2.Update the drivers??
3.Solder a new joystick??
4.Get a refund?

The dome switch contacts ( i believe) are on the main pcb so changing
them is not an option for home users (service centre)
Updating the drivers I doubt will help.

so should i get a refund? or change the whole joystick with a new one by soldering a new one?
