I was wondering if there are ne other problems with the x1 software and hardware.
i heard with the hardware there are cracks appeaaring mostly on the silver version, did this happen to ne1 on here, and does it happen on the black version.
With the software ive read about problems with sync, bluetooth and battery, can ne1 xplain these problems and are ther ne ways of fixing them
Are ther ne other problems x1 users are havin not listed and can u fix it
Also does ne1 kno wen ther is going to be a firmware update and is ther going to be a thread on x1 firmware overview

About cracks in the case: it think its a matter of luck. Mine is black and hasn't any cracks yet, but the battery cover is scratched, revealing silver underneath.
Battery and bluetooth are excellent for me, especially battery.
As for sync: sometimes after 2-3 hrs connected it loses connection, but unplugging and replugging the device fixes this instantly.
Overall it is an excellent phone but you should buy it only if you care for the hardware keyboard and couple of hardware buttons, otherwise I strongly suggest to go for the HTC Touch HD

Erm, i assume this is simply a rumor that has been going around...Windows Mobile 7 is due to be released in 2010 let alone make it in X1 within 2009 as a firmware update, especially with SE having a known policy of not updating operating systems on any of the already released mobile phones.

You are correct, its probably another blah blah without meaning! However, if not all is crap talk then we can expect some firmware upgrade in February, which would go head to head with MS rumor of some anouncement. But at the end.... we will have to wait and see!
So far I did not find any credible posting about any firmware!
