Ok so i got the phone unlcoked and then when it put in either a o2, Tesco or a orange sim card it shows inactive sim card, when i try to send a text msg it fails and when i try to call out, as soon as i hit the ring button its just closes the call like 1second after hittin call however.
When i put a virgin or a vodaphone simcard in, it shows the networks name and appears to recieve text meages and can send text mesages but however this time when i call it doesnt cancel the call, it dials out but i get like a three beep tone weather i try to ring a home or mobile phone ot even the top up lines i get the three beeps. from here i do not know what to do, i have tried to get updated with SEUS[Sony Ericsson Update Service] but it made no different as it is at the most up to date F/W.
If you have any idea or information or if i can prodive any more info please let me know.

WEIRD SYMBOL..?
My Sony ericsson W910i has a weird symbol next to the "H" it looks like a Handset or phone with a red line diagonally through it, what is it and how do i get rid of it?

How long do you have the phone, could it be barred ?

Its not barred, i had it check with checkmend =/
