Hi,
I have wandered around and found that there are quite a few sound mods for the UIQ phones.
Please suggest me some of the available. I have w950i and it sounds ..... not so good and not so loud, i need mod only for listening with headphones, everything else sound good to me.
I have updated my phone with the latest version of the firmware with the SE update tool.

If you like your music to sound "heavy" or with a bit more bass, try the Monster Bass v2 mod. You'll need Xplore or SM Pro for access to your Z: (ROM) drive.
Sound mod lite is pretty good too.

I went with sound mode full, and it really sounds way louder, even too louder
, but i can always decrease the volume.
Edit: There is a bug in this mod ... or at least with this mod and my phone.
When you make a call, and use the loudspeaker, the microphone does not work. Once you turn the speaker off everything is ok.

If you're just using wired headset, then sound mod lite by swmail is best.
Easy to install and sounds really really good!

I tried two versions of the Sound Mode Full, ver. 1.0 and 1.1, unfortunately the problem with the not working microphone in loudspeaker mode is present in the two versions.
Please tell me how could i "uninstall" the mod(s) and return to the original configuration or how to downgrade to the lite version of the mod, so i could see if the problem is still present.
Anyways the mode really "opens" the musical capabilities of the phone, only if the microphone bug was not present ...
