Hi. Can anyone help me which phone to choose? My choices are sony ericsson g900, nokia n82, sony ericssson p1i or nokia e51. Ofcourse the rating of the nokia phones i've chosen have better rating than the sony ericsson phones here but my concern is the battery life. And the nice thing about the g900 is it's standy application and touch screen w/c the n82 lacks. I really2x want xperia but it's way expensive. Could someone recommend me w/c phone is best among the 4 coz i really don't know now w/c would be better. tnx

The N82, E51, Xperia and the UIQ duo cater to entirely different market segments. You need to make up your mind about what you need most in a cell phone.

IMO, the E51 looks crap and is the most outdated of the five, with its small-ish screen and poor RAM. The N82 is brilliant if you're the kind of the person who loves photography and uses the camera a lot, thanks to its xenon flash. Transitioning through the menus is a bit quicker than on UIQ phones, but typing out messages takes an eternity compared to QWERTY.

The Xperia is inclined toward messaging with its slide out keyboard. WinMo has a bigger 3rd party application base too, at least when compared with UIQ3 and S60v3. If you don't need a keyboard, take a look at the HTC Touch HD and Diamond.

The P1i is great as a messaging device and I can bang out messages at pretty much the same rate as on an E71 mini-QWERTY. See if you're comfortable using the half-QWERTY system before you buy one though, since I know a lot of people who had to sell theirs. The screen real estate is pretty good too. The G900 is the most pocketable T/S phone but has a smaller screen. The lack of a 3.5mm jack on both UIQs is a bit of a downer too.

Of the five, I think the E51 has the most battery life with the N82 a close second. However, with the N79 and N85-refresh with xenon right around the corner, you might be better off waiting for a month or two.

What i really need for my cellphone now is a camera w/ flash with ok video recording, very good organizer where in i can easily see my tasks for the day, easily add a task or appointment, very long battery life and document viewer(required) and editor(optional but better if there's one). wifi not really needed but if there's one better and if there's wifi it should be a t/s phone so that the navigation would be better. For the music so2x as long as the sound produced in the phone is loud and good. Xperia is really perfect for my needs but sadly i don't have the money to buy one

With all the requirements u mentioned, good cam, good document reader, good enough battery life, and cheaper than Xperia, Looks like the P1i is the best option for you

Try using the g900 and P1i for sometime , and choose which ones appeals the best to you

IMO the P1i is a good buy at current prices

Nice appraisal gforce23

Yup sounds like a P1i is what you need, and as mentioned going V. cheap now.

Fantastic value esp considering all the mods you can do...

Yes Bro, I agree.
To choose a worth device,it should be equally comparable between the features, realibilty and the price.
You should read all of the device's features in manual book and try it one by one.(like the tester did).
So,between price and features,I agree P1i is still the best till today.

The problem is i dont know people who has those devices and i don't know where in my country(Philippines) offers testing of phones. hehehe Can the stand by application of g900 be installed on p1i now? If yes, is there any lag?
