im a sun user and i was able to browse the internet through opera mini for free. i dnt know what is the version of my opera mini, but it works very well and most important browsing is free of charge. i can use it all day, get connected with my yahoomail everday..
but today i dont know what comes in i wasnt able to get connected at all ses theres a prob on my network? what does it mean? does it mean that suncel was able to discover this??
anyway just wnt to let all pipol know that suncellular has a good internet connection.. as if i was browsing using my pc...
its veri good.
now my problem what if, suncel cut it out?
its a big lost!!
try suncel, with their good network good connection and cheap celphone loads!

You don't need to modify the configuration of the GPRS or Internet. Free na talaga sa Sun Cellular. You just need to activate GPRS. I tried it using Opera Mini 4.1 and 4.2 beta and it works great. I just downloaded the settings from SE's support website.

On my k800i, i'm not using any specific application for video streaming in youtube. It automatically opens the default video player of my phone.

ah, ok, so CID , sim dependent din pala.. actually i want to maximize lang kasi yung HSDPA features ng k660 when browsing, compared to k800i using FBT sa GT, though 3G naman, sana we can find a way to tweak din itong SUN.. paging, kris....hehehe

Don't worry. I will try to come up with the settings for Sun. Bigyan nyo ko load sa Sun para magawa ko. Joke, hehe. Anyway, I will buy a new Sun na sim. I will make an experiment again on opera mini mod v2.06, v4.1 and v4.2 beta. Thanks.

Try this dude. Install mo ung Opera Mini 4.2 or 4.1 tapos change mo ung proxy settings ng Internet profile na ginagamit mo to 72.55.191.6 as proxy address at port 3128. Let me know what will happen.

Try to delete all the Internet profiles of Sun on your phone then redownload it from the support page of Sony Ericsson - www.sonyericsson.com/support
After that, try browsing again. Maybe you have changed something on the Internet settings. Did you change the proxy settings?

Dude, try mo muna gumamit ng prepaid sim kasi baka macharge ka sa bill mo. Ung friend ko kasi eh ginamit dati ung 4.1 ni aED eh almost 200 naging bill nya sa internet browsing.

Ano bang Internet profile ang gamit mo? Sun WAP GPRS? Try mo magcreate ng isa pang Internet profile tapos ilagay mo sa APN eh minternet. Ang APN kasi nung Sun WAP GPRS eh wap.

Yah free talaga pag Sun INTERNET ang gamit mong Internet profile pero hindi ito gumagana sa lahat ng sim cards. Parang sa Globe, hindi gumagana ang 4.2 sa Globe Starter na sim.

I thought im browsing it for free. I got it wrong buddy! After a day i checked my bills on my postpaid, ayun maycharges nga. Di pala realtime ang update ng charges kaya akala naka free nako.
Anyway, Den, can you send me a mod version of OM4.2 or maybe you know some proxy settings to configure opera mobile 9.5 via opera:config

May mod version ako ng opera mini 4.2 for sun cellular kaso kahit gamitin mo un eh machacharge ka parin kasi postpaid account gamit mo. Madedetect padin kasi nila ung data transfer eh. Mas maganda if prepaid gagamitin mo for internet browsing.

o.m.4.2 sa smart prepaid. I can browse also for free using opera mobile9.5beta pero sa smart wap site lang and yahoo mail and messenger, when you browse to other site, lumalabas na ung insufficient load balance.
So far operamini 3.11 yung ok sakin using globe and smart, wla kase ako pang suncellular na operamini mod.

PM mo saking ang email address mo tapos send ko sau ung modded na Opera Mini 4.2 for Smart and Sun Cellular. Actually gagana naman ang unmodded na Opera Mini 4.2 sa Smart using a proxy eh. Try mo gamitin ang proxy na 60.190.151.77:8088. Tapos after nun eh go to Menu>Tools>Settings>Network Protocol tapos select mo ang HTTP.
