Hi all,
My W960i is currently on Ebay as i have an upgrade due next week.
My question is,when i delete stuff where does it go?
Can i open the drive & wipe it just like a hard drive?
Also,is there an easy way to restore the phone to factory settings without
losing any branding or games?
The phone is on 02 if that helps.

Format the memory stick and do a format on the phone too, not a master reset. You can format via the service menu:
* -> jog up -> * -> jog down -> jog down -> * -> jog down -> *
Then select format internal disk, this will format the C part of the phone and copy everything back form the ROM minus some themes and demo video (back those up and copy them back afterwards if you want).

My phone doesnt have a stick or maybe i havent found it.

You need to use the jog dail, it should be a little wheel on the left side of the phone, beware that one tick up comes pretty precise, before you know it you ticked up two times.
